Story

Annata is a wine bar and casual fine dining restaurant in Crows Nest on Sydney's lower north shore. Specialising in fine, minimal intervention and avant garde wines from local and abroad, quality cocktails and delicious, elegantly presented food. We are passionate about provenance, sourcing our produce locally where possible and always seeking the highest quality, ethically minded producers. Exceptional cocktails and you'd expect. The food is harder to judge. The menu is VERY limited and fairly strange. That said if you like it it's very well done. Atmosphere was good and the service was adequate though it was busy so maybe I'm being to harsh
One of our favourite restaurants. Great food, ambiance and of course the wine list is amazing- Christian’s knowledge and passion for wine shines through when asking for a suggestion. Highly recommend
This is an exceptional experience.... the food.... the bar. But in the end it comes down to the fantastic team. Every interaction was a pleasure and I'm always looking for the next opportunity to get back. Highly recommended!
lunch on Friday 12th Feb 2021 with business partners. Had grilled John Dory fish and salad for lunch with white wine . Excellent. Very friendly and attentive male waiter . I'll be back. Bruce Mc Ewen
Ordered the degustation and requested a substitute for the main course, lamb but was given just broccoli. I expected a protein substitute. Food was quite nice however, two of the three waiters were not so friendly and welcoming.
The Annata team did an amazing job to accommodate all our dietary requirements and created an amazing and delicious gluten-free, dairy free menu for us. Thanks a lot for all your efforts and professionalism. It has been a pleasure to watch your team working together so well and creating such a great atmosphere. We will be back.
Awesome local restaurant with a cracking wine list. BYO on Friday's for lunch, but we were happy to be guided by Christian who came up trumps. Will definitely be back!
Really good wines!!! Reasonably price for a seafood heavy menu. Simply good hospitality.
Great to see such class in crows nest. Very tasty morsels exploring adjacent flavours in a light balanced way. Superb wine list that's worth the visit just on its own!
