Came here for the first time since it was an old rock and roll pub. The food and ambience is really good, but the staff is downright amazing! The service would put some of Sydney's fine dining to shame. Definitely one of the best pubs in the areaService: 5/5
No pokies, Dog friendly and awesome food. Best pub food in Annandale - delicious and interesting.. Went on a Saturday night, last minute booking for 7ppl adults and teens and got a great table. Staff really friendly and vibe of the pub was perfect for young and old. Will be back and my new local. The great thing is, dogs are able to go anywhere in the pub,,, which is awesome. Some pubs only allow you to have dogs outside in the beer garden
Local favourite, The Annandale Hotel has personality, character and wonderful food. Friendly, hospitable staff, a pool table and a area down the back that gives restaurant vibes, the food definitely delivers above and beyond for a local pub in the area. The yellow fin tuna ceviche with avocado, roasted tomato dressing and tapioca cracker is summer goodness in a special Aussie way. With a great wine and cocktail menu and knowledgeable bartenders to match, it's a must go for Summer 2023 and beyond.
Historic music venue home of the Dananananaykroyd broken arm incident and some Metallica stories, done up into a lovely, modern pub. Great cocktails, good food, nice outdoor covered patio. Fab vibes, family-friendly.

Have been here twice with a few families and kids and both times the food has been great as well as very attentive and friendly service. The bar man with the hat even made me a toblerone cocktail that wasn’t on menu. Food is varied and very good. I loved the chicken schnitzel and I normally don’t like them ! Atmosphere is very family friendly. Would definitely return again.

Been a few years since I’ve visited this hotel. We went today with friends for lunch. Wow!! What an amazing improvement. The renovations have really improved the ambience. We had the Sunday Roast. Sorry I didn’t take a picture. The presentation was excellent and the food was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. And of course, doggos are very welcome. Highly recommended

Hands down one of the best pub experiences in Sydney. Food is UNREAL, so well priced, interior and beer garden is a great mix of refurbished and rustic, and the staff are brilliant - so much fun and a joy to chat to, even when it’s just a quiet Monday night. All my love to this little Hotel.Service: 5/5
