THE BEST Korean bakery in this area. I gotta go there early or they run out of the good stuff pretty quickly. They use organic and healthy ingredients. They are a hidden gem in Annandale. They will be opening up their second shop in Centreville next to So BBQ. Their choco cake is off the charts good. Their strawberry roll cake is awesome too. If you want awesome Korean bread that are made with really healthy ingredients then this is the place.
It was very lovely inside. Shop is nice and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, good prices and delicious food. Many things were sold out because they make things fresh, and we came later on within the day. Highly recommend.
I was very happy to find a healthier bread option in centerville , the taste was great that I even bought a big fruit cake to my friend for Christmas. However the experience today was completely opposite, I bought a slice of the fruit cake for myself, the portion was just half of a slice that I got in Jan 2022, but the worst part was cake was not fresh the cream tasted sour completely diff from the cake I had for Xmas and the bottom of the slice was soggy that it almost felt wet. Threw the slice away, for a premium price I'd expect the cake would at least be comparable with any cake in a regular place. probably won’t come back.
No good experience. As usual my family wife, son, daughter and me stop by at this store, grabe some pastry, they are good by the way. But today we went to get some and we ask for a regular coffee too, on the large sign on the cash register it says "free coffee". The person who was at that time, a man with glasses and a cap, as we have usually seen him, he wanted to charge us for the coffee. My wife said that the coffee was free, With an offensive attitude he muttered that "why would the coffee be free?". And he kept repeating to which my wife told him that she no longer wanted to buy anything. This guy called the police, We waited and the police did not show up. I went back into the store to take a picture of the sign and the guy called the police again. really?. We have been frequent clients but with this type of attention we will never return to that place.
I am not returning again due to the worst customer experience—it was actually the owner who has to fix her attitude. My family has been a loyal customer to the store for last three years. We recently ordered the size 3 large cake for our son’s bday and prepaid the cake. We didn’t get their stamp on the reward card. I requested a few days later when I stopped by again to buy some bread. The owner frowned at me they do not do such thing a few days later and said it was mistake by her employee. The owner could’ve said that they do not have the tracking system going a few days back nicely. Instead, she treated as if I was stealing something I was also purchasing good amount already. I should’ve just walked away leaving bread before her.
Best bakery I’ve ever been too! Great service :
when you walk in it feels quite cozy, but there’s nothing too special about the decor i visited in the afternoon so idk what it looks like at night, maybe it’s better at that time?. the prices are decent for a korean bakery in NOVA and the treats look yummy. customer service wasn’t too bad but the minimum charge for a cc/dc is 10 dollars so you’d have either add more items or pay with cash. there are sandwiches and hot dogs which i don’t usually see in bakeries around here which was really nice. i bought the hot dog and the price was arguably worth it. overall i think that this place is definitely worth the try if you wanna visit a korean bakery that’s slightly cheaper than breeze
Nice cozy place to shop and variety pastry, organic ingredients for healthy nice service and kindness.
I have tried many Korean-owned bakeries in this area. This bakery is the best by far by the high quality pastries, breads, and cakes. I love that they use only organic flour and natural ingredients and they sell fresh bakery items. I do not get the unexplainable stomach discomfort that i often experience from eating pastries after eating their items, which is wonderful. I also feed my young toddler with the breads whole grain, zero or low sugar and my son loves it! All the items are priced very reasonably compared to other famous organic stores. Plus, you get discounted prices on items after 7pm if they ever have anything that has not been sold out already: they sell pretty quickly! The bakery is not as spacious, but the staff are friendly and helpful. They also offer coffee drinks and teas. Do not forget to start their rewards card : I strongly recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean-styled bakeries!
This bakery is small, but has all the good bread and tasty snacks. I really like their selection, it makes me feel like I’m in Korea. Love their chestnut bread and red bean bread.
