The location of the restaurant is breathtaking. As you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted with extremely friendly, smiling Italian ? gentlemen who really gave the impression that they love their jobs and takes pride in their service. The waiters brought us to a table and provided some dish suggestions. I am not vegetarian but so happened to order the pumpkin mushroom gnocchi which is probably one of the best gnocchi dishes I've ever had. If you feel too stuffed, just pop outside and go for a beautiful stroll along the river. Nothing bad to say about this place, might be pricey but it's worth it.
We had a family dinner here tonight and the service and food are just absolutely amazing. Victor who was looking after us tonight was thoughtful and attentive. The food tasted awesome and well presented. We did the chef menu for the table and we were so well fed! Would definitely come back in the future!
It’s been a long time since the last time I came there. The food quality and quantity really surprise me this time. The location and service are also gorgeous! Definitely will come again:
My dining experience here was mixed. There are some great qualities about this place and some things which need to be improved. Pros: The setting is amazing, both the wooden interiors of the restaurant and the waterfront scenery. This place has a prime spot on the Parramatta River. Some of the food here was great. The fresh oysters were super tasty and the prawns in the hot seafood platter were fresh and crunchy. The olives entree was a hit. They also do some mean chips as well. Recommended. Oh and the tiramisu was to die for! The cabarita cocktail was also something I'd have again if I was back here. Cons: Some of the dishes were average. The capesante scallops were ok. Not worth the price tag though. The salmon on the hot platter was just salmon without anything added to it. I could cook that at home. The service here was quite slow considering the price you're paying. They really need to hire more staff. Also they don't seem to read the notes provided upon reservation. I informed them I was dining there with my wife to celebrate a special occasion and would like something special with the dessert but they didn't do anything. So yeah, this place has the potential to be really amazing if it can improve in the above flaws. Parking: Free three hour parking is located just out the front of the restaurant
Lovely decor, nice water views and attentive staff. We actually went there for the panna cotta but that didnt turn out to be as amazing as other reviewers claimed. The salt n pepper calamari was good and so was the ragu. Took one star off because before we had got up to go pay, a waitress came over with the bill and card reader on hand asking for payment, it was a bit aggressive and unnecessary.
We had dinner at Angelo's Cabarita and it was beautiful ..! The premises is beautifully lighted in the night, and located in front of waterside, where you can look out all the time while dining. All staff was great and friendly and the food we had was the best part of the day ..! Lamb backstrap and grass-fed scotch fillet was perfectly cooked and the side eggplant parmi was awesome too :
We had our wedding reception at Angelo's Cabarita in October 2022, with around 115 guests and plenty of room for a dance floor. Guy who manages the restaurant was a calming and caring presence during what can be a stressful time and the service we received from him and his team was impeccable right from our first enquiry. Everyone was so accommodating, helpful and professional. Vic who was working on the first night we went to Angelo's to discuss booking it as a venue option was even on hand on our special night making our guests laugh and keeping everyone's drinks full. All of our guests honestly could not stop raving about the quality of the food on the night and long after, and we are excited that we will be able to enjoy many future anniversaries enjoying wonderful food and great memories at Angelo's Cabarita. Vegetarian options: Angelo's Cabarita were able to accommodate the need for dietary requirements including, halal, vegetarian, vegan, seafood and gluten allergies.
We enjoyed the delicious seafood platter and the water views. Attentive and warm service, looking forward to visiting again soonFood: 5/5
We had such a lovely time at dinner tonight. Our Waiter was so amazing and sweet, food and wine were spot on. Plus, lovely views!
Wow! What a beautiful restaurant, the view and ambience are outstanding. Food was just amazing - great selection of meat, seafood and pasta dishes. All the pasta is made fresh, and you can tell! Would be 5 stars but the cocktails need some work. Will stick to the extensive wine list next time. But there will be a next time, such a perfect evening with attentive, friendly yet not intrusive experienced staff. Lovely dining experience
