I saw the reviews but anyways wanted to check it out with my friend! Most likely first and last time to come. Food is tasty , I will say that! But we waited for the food for up to half an hour, for sure, they mixed out and overcharged our order... When food arrived , my friend saw a hair in her bread, but lol there was so many stuff with this caffe for the morning already, that my friend could not be bothered to winge about!
Went here a few times in the past 4 weeks, and couldn't work out why there are several 1-star reviews. It's not your trendy, hipster café and the food presentation is good but not Instagrammable -- however, the coffee is pretty good and the food's tasty and sevings are generous at a fair price. I found the service good as well. Something must have changed during the time between the 1-star reviews and now. I'd recommend you guys give this place another go.
Paid $18 for eggs on Toast and when I asked for a side Vegemite they wanted an extra dollar. How un-Australian. The eggs were nice though
Walked past this place so many times but finally decided to go check it out with a friend. It looked busy with only one waiter serving all tables. The customer service was very poor. My friend got overcharged and she went back to tell them about it which they gave her the difference back. But the look on the staff’s face that she was giving my friend that time was very unfriendly she seemed annoyed and angry. The food was okay except for the hair in the bread. I don’t think you guys care for review as you still get lots of customers. Anyways I’m glad we checked out the place, we found out that it’s not a place to come back to again.
Food was good but I hope you improve your service, as it was very slow. It took half hour to get our food and restaurant was not busy. One of the toast were burn, and poached egg was hard boil. beside that it was delicious.
Their chicken burger was delicious to our taste. Fresh and yummy! It came really fast as the restaurant was empty.
Decent coffee and good for people watching in the Danks st Mall. The big breakfast was really tasty as well.
Very bad experience with staff and food. Asked for tailored food. They didn’t get me what I want. Went twice to rectify it then I was waiting until they make it and they didn’t even bother to make it. Very bad and rude staff

I seriously have no idea how this place is still open. Visited again as our favourite milk crate was closed. Terrible service, sat at a table that wasn't cleared for 15 minutes despite asking nicely twice. The coffee that we ordered with the first order of food didn't arrive until after we had finished food and argued with the 'manager' as he thought we hadn't ordered it until the girl on the till told him we had. Asked for some tomato sauce whilst there and was given one tiny packet whilst he smirked like the Muppet he is. Always understaffed, food is average at best. Bacon was stiff like it was cooked 40 minutes ago, cold everything, bread was stale. Truly have no idea how this place can be so s**t. Manager is so bloody rude, always has new staff as no one wants to work for him. If you don't enjoy it, do us a favour, sell up and leave!
