This cafe is on the main road heading between Sydney to Queensland. A nice little stop to take a rest, fill up on petrol and collect some snacks. Also a good spot to get a meal. The coffee will be served extra hot if required, however they’ll use the same milk for other drinks too. All the food was served quickly which was great. The spicy burger was filling and as described. The well advertised cherry pie was served on a hot plate while the pie was warm with fresh. The pie was not too sweet. Would recommend to get the cream served separately as it melts quickly. There is a unisex bathroom which has the sink outside. Plenty of parking available and seating inside and outside.
Stopped for the Cherry Pie +Cherry pie had a generous about of cherry filling and not too sweet, pastry was a short crust, crumby and not too sweet either, it comes with a serving of whipped cream. + Ordered a large Mocha, good coffee and perfectly heated. Both were takeaway. -It was crowded when I was there and they seemed a little frantic behind the counter, could’ve been a little more efficient with their staff and make use of the two counters a bit better.
Stopped in late afternoon so only coffee to sustain the trip home. Good coffee with milk not overheated. Cherry pie is the plan for the next time we pass. Update-cherry pie is great. Full cherries inside, no filler, great taste and top notch pastry - short, crusty and not sweet. Had a black coffee this time and not so good. Made up by GREAT hot chips!
We were on a road trip, so unfortunately won't be back for awhile. This was a hidden gem we found while stopping for fuel, and was well worth grabbing some takeaway. Tastes home made, and good serving size. Definitely don't miss trying this pie if you're in the area!
Dropped in for Brunch. Bill ordered Big brekkie with coffee and I had poached eggs. As can be seen by the photo the big brekkie was huge and my poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Bill said the coffee was really good. We followed with a peice of Cherry pie not because we needed it, just because it looked good, it was. No pic of that it didn't last long enough. For around $30 that was a very substantial meal for two. The food arrived quickly considering how busy they were and the staff were friendly. Toilets were clean. Well worth the stop.
Cherry pie was delicious as usual. Service is always slow usually only one server. If not raining the outdoor seating is great. The single toilet is usually overcrowded and often dirty the bowl is cracked on the right hand side so if sitting be warned. The outside could often do with a good clean but like I said very limited staff
Very nice cherry pie ! Good coffee and cheese toasted sandwich . Friendly service and clean place! Kid-friendliness: Cheese toasted sandwich!
Cherry pie was okay. Not the best service and my sister's omlete looked like scambled eggs. Could do with an extra toilet.
If you’re looking for a place where to relax and read some novels or whatever, this coffee shop would be the best. They have the best coffee available and even some fresh baked goods as well. The ambiance of this shop was so relaxing, and the staff are highly capable. I could not ask for more because everything that I needed was provided. Well done, Sam ! Keep making great coffee and Cherry pie . Special thanks to Sam who was handling everything Good on you buddy
Didn’t have a great experience here. I had a chicken lettuce and mayo sandwich- the chicken is the frozen stuff and the mayo was so watered down it had no flavour at all. The bread was fresh but that’s all to recommend it. Thought I’d try a custard and cherry tart - the custard was about one millimeter deep so basically none and dry - didn’t eat it. My husband had a kebab which was made on a small flat bread. Staff were not very happy but,to be fair, they had a sign saying they are short staffed so maybe it will get better. I usually believe in giving two chances for food places so they are one strike down in my book.
