Great Thai food in an unexpected place! There is a small selection of food but the pad Thai and noodle stir fry was done well. It came out very quickly and was delicious. Both the dishes had a lot of protein in them. The drinks were also refreshing and much needed after a long hot day. It was on the expensive side but generous portions.
Even in the low season this place was busy and it’s understandable why. The service was fast and friendly and the food authentic and delicious. The Cashew Tofu Vegetable stir fry was excellent as was the vegetarian Pad Thai and the Lemongrass tea was a perfect pick me up after a hot day of walking. Highly recommended.
Whilst in Kakadu we stayed at this resort and were very fortunate to have this place just on our doorstep. Beautiful, authentic food The flavours and smells are so good, I could have eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner Portion size is more than adequate. and prices are reasonable considering the location. Western food is also served, Can get busy Staff are very friendly
Loved it. Absolutely delicious food. Best Thai I've had. Busy but served quickly. Food was served piping hot and was really delicious
Authentic pad Thai with lovely Smokey flavour. Chicken soup was also delicious
Kangaroo spring rolls was so heavily spiced, if you closed your eyes you would think you're eating a samosa. They could have put any meat in there and I wouldn't be able to tell what it is. Pad Thai was average. Fried chicken was dry and tasteless. See the photo yourself. Cashew chicken was ok but unbalanced in use of shrimp paste. Service was limp. Fruit drinks were delicious. I don't understand how this place can be rated 4.6
We arrived in the dark to Anbinik Restaurant. After we ordered two red curries, one Pad Thai and one cashew chicken $25 per meal, we had a seat in the outside area. The staff was nice and the curries came out really quickly. One meal took a bit longer. The curries were really yummy, but could have been a bit more creamy. The cashew chicken was also good. The Pad Thai was a bit oily. All portions were big, so plenty to eat and share. Overall, you can do nothing wrong here. We would go again and can therefore recommend this place.
Authentic Thai, on the sweet side. Sweet drinks with fresh natural flavours. Lovely setting. Thai rice, nicely cooked. We had Keung and Tom Yum
Delicious fresh food and cold drinks. Friendly fast service and no problems getting a table. Loved it. Short walk up from the Crocodile Resort.
Unfortunately this is the worst Thai I’ve ever had. Read most reviews saying that it was authentic and the best however I was severely disappointed. Pad Thai had too much sauce, green and red curry were watery, Thai fried rice, basil beef and cashew chicken was ok. Only one protein option for most/all dishes. Opted for chilli on the side for all dishes but it wasn’t even served so I had to ask for it. Prices are very expensive for the serving size.understandable that all food up this way is exxy. Wouldn’t go back nor would not recommend.
