Very beautifully traditional venue in the heart of clemton park shopping village. It has quickly become one of my favourite turkish restaurants in the Inner West! Love their Pide which is made to share, very good value for money considering your getting amazing quality of food and produce, with all the dough and breads being made in-house. Their Shish are incredible, I always opt for the Chicken and Adana! Their Knaffeh is amazing, i loved the cheesy flavour coming through and good balance of sweetness too. The Coffee and teas are lovely with traditional Turkish coffee, and the Baklava Ice-cream is encased in a flaky pasty and topped with pistachios and strawberries.
You can find yourselves an authentic Turkish breakfast at Anatolia restaurant! We suggest you go for the breakfast platte! It is well worth travelling to Clemton Park for this. Anatonlia can be found in Clemton Park Shopping village which is a new development with a range of stores, eateries and apartments. It’s not far from the city. The restaurant is situated in an open piazza style area with gardens, so even though you’re in a shopping village, it has a lovely outlook. The restaurant has a modern fit out, with and extremely large ornate chandelier that is beautiful and just has to be seen. It is a large open restaurant with decorative cushions, so surround yourself and feel as though you are in Turkey in a tea/coffee house. This place does not just do your regular Turkish fare of pide and kebabs, it is a sophisticated dining venue with some quality food on offer. They are also open for breakfast. Make sure you bring your appetite if you are tackling the breakfast platter like we did. The platter is a mixture of sweet and savoury, including an amazing bread basket filled with different types of Turkish breads and pastries made fresh daily. The bread comes in handy, whether using it to mop up the delicious sauce from the menemen eggs with stewed tomato and onion or topping it with the eggs sucuk turkish sausage. Maybe also add some kasar a stringy turkish mozzarella and pastrima cured beef to the crackers that come with the platter. For some freshness try the tomato, cucumber, olives. For some sweetness, smear the sesame pastry with the jams, halva or honey. To finish off if you can fit any more in! have some of the fruit salad, dried fruit and nuts. The breakfast platter is awesome, we absolutely loved it and it’s the perfect option to enjoy over a catch up with family and friends. Make sure you try the lovely Turkish tea or coffee and let the food settle. The platter at Anatolia will leave you content, maybe even a little sleepy after the sheer volume of food, and you’ll have to loosen the belt a notch or two.
My husband took me here for our Anniversary dinner I had Adana kebab best tasting kebab ever highly recommend this restaurant..
Have been here twice in the past week. Food is fantastic with big servings. We have had the mixed grill, pide with Turkish salami, lamb shoulder plate and chicken plate. All have been fantastic. Also the Turkish tea is delicious. This is now one of our favorite locals for dinner. Highly recommended!!
We booked as a group of 18 for a Sunday lunch. We were advised only a few days before our function that the restaurant would only be serving their set Turkish breakfast rather than lunch. Even so, the venue was well situated for everybody so we agreed. Even though most people were there by midday, the breakfast was not served for another hour. The service was disorganised, there was not enough food and there was no attention given to topping up teas, breads etc. I will not be hurrying back any time soon.
Really gorgeous authentic turkish food. Friendly staff excellent service beautiful atmosphere well worth visiting. The live turkish music was the best I have heard in a while the singer was amazing My friend and I cant wait to go back. One of the best turkish restaurants in Sydney.
We were new to turkish food and wat we ordered was two small dishes but had to wait about 45 minutes to get it juss because we reached there after a whole bunch of 15 people. Moreover, in one of the dishes there was supposed to be turkish tea but was not served. The service was too late and it would be better if the service is provided with care for those who know not about it not with discrimination. I saw about ANATOLIA in social media but was disappointed when I went there. My bad!!! Should have reviewed before going there!
Worst Turkish food ever. We also ordered chips which were old & had been re-fried so they were chewy & hard. The kebabs themselves was cold & not worth the money paid. I get better kebabs from the kebab shop down the road which are fresh. Will not be going back again.
Two times to Anatolia and the service was again above expectation. From great takeaway food the first time to fine dine in this time. Over genouros in there serving of food. Also ask for there in house freshly made bread. Delicious. Great job Anatolia team.
Amazing food, service was fast and friendly. Strongly recommend their mixed grilled plates, and sisha for after the meal. Glad that they've opened up close to home, will be back more often!
