Coming from New Zealand where it’s common to go diving and fishing for your own seafood and enjoy it, literally fresh off the boat, I have always been fussy when it comes to good quality seafood, which made stumbling across Anastos Fisheries all the more sweeter.nnTucked away in industrial North Shore, Anastos Fisheries is by far the cleanest fishmonger I have ever stepped foot in. It doesn’t even smell of fish ‍ Anastos Fisheries is a local, family owned business, opening their doors 2 years ago and only sell Australian wild caught seafood direct from their own fishermen. You won’t find any imported seafood here. We were happy with all our purchases and even happier we found this place.
Fresh, sustainable seafood sourced just for you. Rest assured you can choose whatever you like from the fresh, clean display and it is good for you and good for the planet - all the thinking is done for you.
Although it is in the north Geelong factory complex, the seafood is fresh and of good quality. A little price.
This hidden little gem has the freshest seafood in Geelong. We bought Prawns, Scallops, Oysters, Marinara mix, Ling and some marinated Squid. The shop is small with select produce of high quality. We love that its family owned and operated, that they eat what they catch and they only fish Australian waters. My family is proud to support this business!
