Room 2 ... make sure you're not in this one. Ground Floor No windows to open for fresh air, no aircon. Four sleeper room gets extremely stuffy. You can open a door leading to a driveway covered in cigarette butts and have a ground floor security risk while you sleep I suppose, but no window. Not a restful night at all. Suffocating. Toilet cistern takes an absolute age to fill at an audible trickle. Again a family of 4, if you need more than 1 flush, you're asking your family members if they can wait 15 mins before going to the toilet so you can flush it again. This is all a shame as the staff service and kitchen arrangements are perfect. Staff are perfect, they can't help the infrastructure, that'll be the owner. The kitchen is spacious, clean, well stocked and the "make yourself at home, help yourself" , is again ... perfect.
we stayed here the nights before and of our wedding reception, and it was the loveliest stay! Carla and Wendy are both so accomodating, it's an absolutely beautiful space and we felt so welcome. The room was so spacious, and had absolutely everything that we needed, including a fully stocked breakfast assortment in the kitchen. We would absolutely return if we ever needed to be in Maidenhead again :
Absolutely amazing location we are visiting Legoland today and it's around a 15 Minute drive away, well packed fridge for breakfast, use of the freezer is a bonus! All coffee and tea making equipment in our room, washing machine and a massive shower 100/10Rooms: 5/5
An amazing place to stay in a great location and with easy car parking. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the accommodation has everything you could ever need including; breakfast items, washing machine, kitchen with cooking equipment. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
When I checked in and I walked past one of the staff and they were really nice. Later on in the day, I overheard the manager shouting in the reception area at who I think was one of the staff. It seemed very inappropriate and not nice for my kids to hear at all!! However the rooms and the kitchen area was very clean and welcoming. There was various options for breakfast and I just felt at home minus the shouting.
We have booked a room here through booking. com . when we reach , we found there is misunderstanding of the numbers of guests .. we were 2 adults and 2 kids. but in booking it was showing only 2 adults.. Then the owner came to discuss .. trust me that lady was so nice and kind . very politely she delt with us . and offered us full refund even few pounds more so we can find a better place for us. plus she gave us some breakfast items to kids so they can eat something on our way to the other hotel.. we had such a great experience with them.
We stayed through part of the quarantine so although breakfast wasn't served we were able to collect yogurts and fruit etc. From the fridge downstairs. There was no coffee machine and we weren't allowed to use the freezer even though we were paying £250, per week, to live there. My other half cycles to work and had locked his bike up round the corner on the house property and I'm guessing because of the area easy getaway over the bridge it was almost stolen the second night we were there!! They completely mashed his bike lock! We opted to clean our own room but bedsheets and towels smelt of mildew and the shower kept resetting itself whilst in use other than that an okay hotel
Great experience at the Wilson Lodge very welcoming homely courteous and friendly hospitality. Great facilities large modern kitchen area that is clean and tidy complete with refreshments and all the necessities. Loved the continental breakfast and waking up to the smell of fresh baked hotcross buns. Fantastic comfortable stay with great rooms.
Absolutely appaling place to stay! Was greeted by rude blunt staff. The room was nothing to write home about. Bedding didn't even smell clean. Out of date food in the fridge that I was supposedly ment to help myself too. And pretty certain I see a cockroach in the shower. Wouldn't stay here again if I was paid to do so.Rooms: 1/5
Beautiful homely Lodge 20 mind away from legoland which was perfect for our family. Staff super welcoming and the place was immaculate. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Would definitely recommend this place
