Late yesterday, I was in the store, and the customer service in there is unbelievably horrible! Rudely told to figure things out for myself and that if i didn't know what i was buying, i shouldn't buy it, giving me the impression that no one wants to be in there. Upon leaving, i noticed that the staff members were too busy chatting to each other to help customers. After reading other reviews of this branch, how has senior management not stepped in! If I could leave a zero star, i would. I left without purchasing anything and went to a competitor instead
Same review I’m leaving for bcf Frankston.nnWorst service of any retail store. I went in both stores wanting to spend big on decking out everything I needed for my boat. It’s not like I was in for a jacket and needed sizes I needed everything for my boat top to bottom and do you think a single person asked me if I needed help let alone seeing anyone…… this was worse than Bunnings trying to get someone to help in a store less than a quarter of the size. Staff need major retail training not their fault it’s management who need to take the blame for that. Looks like I’ll be going jv marine
ZERO STARSnnI purchased the Spinifex Standard II 3 x 3 m Gazebo from Anaconda Frankston for $99 on 20/10/2022. The leg broke, and when I returned it under warranty on 22/11/2022, the manager asked me to leave the product with him and said he would attempt to fix it by replacing the leg with a new pin. I was asked to leave the gazebo at the store for repair.nnI followed up multiple times via phone calls and email 12/12/2022 but never received a response. As of 5/3/2025, it has been over two years with no update. Despite repeated calls, staff claimed they were unsure what to do and never provided any resolution.nnNot only did Anaconda Frankston fail to repair or replace the gazebo, but they also never returned it or informed me of its whereabouts. From my knowledge, they never attempted to fix it. This means they took possession of the product I paid for and provided nothing in return, despite my evidence and repeated attempts to follow up.nnSince I live far from the store, I had not been able to return earlier. While in the area today, I visited in person with my warranty receipt, explaining the situation. I acknowledge that this has been a long period—just over two years—however, I made multiple attempts to follow up where possible, including numerous phone calls. Staff told me the previous manager and employee were no longer there and, after checking with their current manager, said they could do nothing—no repair, no replacement, no compensation. The item is still the same price at $99.nnThis is not just about a faulty product; it shows poor management and a lack of accountability. Anaconda Frankston failed to take responsibility or offer any resolution, despite the inconvenience they caused.nnI am saddened by how this was handled, as I had trusted Anaconda to provide fair and reasonable customer care. At the very least, I expected some sort of compensation for the inconvenience, failed follow-ups, and the loss of the product I paid for.
The most appalling customer service we have ever received.nAs soon as they notice you are trying to return a faulty product they are aggressive and plain rude. Obviously a well known issue with this particular product and instead of approaching in a calm understanding manner, you are met with aggressive tones.nPerhaps a lesson on customer service would help anaconda frankston?
