Amrin & Bros came highly recommended by a few people, so I went in with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience got off to a poor start. After being seated, I sat for around 20 minutes in a mostly empty restaurant before anyone came over to take my order. To be fair, once the staff member began serving me, she was friendly and attentive, but that initial wait was hard to overlook.nnMoving on to the food, the tandoori chicken was a mixed bag. Some of the thigh and leg pieces were decent, but overall it leaned on the dry side. It wasn’t inedible by any means, but it certainly wasn’t juicy or memorable.nnI ordered both the goat curry and a chicken curry. The goat curry was disappointing, with the meat tasting overly shredded and mushy. There weren’t many substantial chunks of goat, and the texture gave the impression that it wasn’t particularly fresh. The chicken curry suffered from a similar issue. The chicken pieces lacked structure and texture, feeling soft and overworked rather than consisting of proper chunks of meat.nnThe curry sauces themselves were better than the proteins and had reasonable flavour, but nothing that made me want to come back specifically for them. The rice was perfectly fine, which is more important than people give it credit for—thankfully it wasn’t undercooked or overcooked.nnThe standout item of the meal was easily the garlic naan. It was fresh, flavourful, and the best thing on the table by a comfortable margin.nnOverall, from start to finish, the experience was below average, especially when considering the price paid for the quality of the meats and proteins served. Given the restaurant’s high ratings, I was expecting a lot more. My guess is that many people come for the buffet, and honestly, I suspect I may have enjoyed that more than ordering à la carte. The curries I received felt more like leftovers or reheated portions rather than freshly prepared dishes.
Paneer paratha, Chole Bhature and kheema naan were very good and authentic. Heebah Staff was amazing at her work. She was welcoming and made our visit good and memorable.Will definitely visit again
We had a lovely meal at Amrin and Bros. . The staff were very friendly and helpful. I explained that I was unable to eat onion and they were able to make up a very nice potato and aubergine curry for me. The rest of my party had the buffet which was also delicious and good value. We were very impressed with all the food which tasted very fresh and flavoursome . We liked the fact that the buffet came with several curries as well as papadams, samosas, rice , raita and a collection of condiments.nWe will definitely return again to this new restaurant and we wish them well.
This is probably the best Lamb Vindaloo I have ever had. I live in a area in Sydney full of south Asian people and this by far is the best indian I've ever had. I had it as a take away but while waiting I liked the atmosphere of the place

Julia was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit, ensuring everything was perfect. Her positive attitude and genuine care truly made our dining experience even more enjoyable.nnHighly recommend Amrin & Bros Restaurant for both the incredible food and exceptional service.
