Hidden Gem Stop – BP with Delicious Food and Great Vibes!nnJust a quick note for travellers — it’s no longer Ampol, it’s now BP, and it’s definitely worth a stop!nnLocated in a beautiful town by the Murray River, this BP is more than just a fuel stop. It’s been fully renovated, with clean toilets, a car wash, and a great dine-in area, making it super convenient for tourists and road-trippers.nnWhat really makes it special, though, is the food! Their chicken bites and chips are my absolute favourite — crispy, tasty, and seriously addictive. I heard this dish has a history of over 100 years, and once you try it, you’ll understand why. You won’t find something like this anywhere else!nnIn the evenings, they serve pizzas that are absolutely delicious. The crust was perfect and the toppings were generous and full of flavour — just wow! I don’t have any pictures to show right now, but trust me, it’s a must-try.nnIt’s only about an hour’s drive from Adelaide, and if you’re heading toward Victor Harbor, take a small detour — you won’t regret it. A perfect spot to stop, take a break, enjoy great food, and continue your journey refreshed.
ONE STAR. When people come into your store to buy something what you're supposed to do.... is serve them. Not continue to talk to your friend about which house boat you're on and what you're doing and how you catching up and which boat is yours and blah blah blah for 15 minutes. Serve your customers! Incredibly incredibly rude I could not believe it no consideration whatsoever.
Possibly the best petrol prices in Goolwa, and definitely the best food. Sandwiches, salads, and the range of hot box items cater to all tastes, but the Burgers made to order and the chips are my favourites - they keep me coming back. Pizzas and a wide range of evening meals are on the menu also. Oh, did I mention, Service is always friendly and cheerful -
Hidden Gem in a servo. Very reasonably priced great flavour and good amount of toppings. Will definitely order again.
