I always stop there because they were the only fuel stop in town, always friendly... They need us bike riders to support them, or the BP will have the monopoly.. plus they are nice local people.
In the past and up to today fuelled up on my bike on my own and with friends. Went there this morning, filled my tank and asked if they had batteries for ignition key fobs. They said yes, so I grabbed it off the hook and took it to the counter where I was charged twice the price of the tag on the shelf. Bloody thieves, if I didnt need it, I would have walked out then and there. $6.60 instead of $3.50 odd. I won’t be there again and neither will any of our group. Go to the BP.
Passed through Canungra on the way to the Coast, I stopped in for fuel and was beyond impressed with the level of service. I forgot to grab a receipt which I needed in order to get a refund for my hire car. I contacted the manager the following day and without any hesitation she was willing to help by printing a receipt off from the previous day. Avoid the M1 and take a trip pass Canungra Caltex.
Dale at the Caltex in Canungra was an absolute gem. He was friendly and kind, service with a smile and many various items stocked. The coffee was was good, and we appreciated his service. Much better than BP : thanks dale, you’re a champion! We will be back.
