Finally found an amazing Italian place with food that is as close to authentic as possible this far from Italy. Mind it's a Southern variation. On place, staff is fast, attentive, helpful and really friendly. Premises are clean. Plenty of seating upstairs. On parking, can be challenging, so come earlier.
Tried Amici after a friend’s rave review. Thoroughly impressed with the service as well as the food. Chris was very hospitable and made our meal very enjoyable. The seafood risotto and the fusilli ragu were both very authentic dishes, cooked beautifully with great flavours. We are thrilled to have found our new go-to local italian, saving us the trip out west to via napoli
I ordered 20 pizzas for a party at 8pm on a Saturday night. These guys promised and delivered, despite the rush hour, which was much appreciated. My friends demolished all pizzas in 10min like pigs at the trough, even though I thought I had too much food. It was beautiful to see. Favourite woodfired Pizza in Sydney, can recommend!
A good friend from my past, my wife and I went to this wonderful Restaurant on Saturday evening. It was late and we were just wanting to have a cuppa before we all went home. We were all blown away with the Manager’s warm reception, the brilliant coffee and the wonderful Gelato Ice cream. This modest looking Restaurant has great ambience. It is also top value for money. We are most definitely coming back here next time we are in the area. Worth going back to again and again.
Authentic italian food. The pizza base is the best I have had. I am definitely going back for that. The tiramisu is just perfect. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I am glad we have this place in our area.
My friends and I went there for dinner. We ordered few pizzas and we were disappointed for different reasons: we had to wait over 30min when the restaurant was not even that busy and pizzas were soggy. For me, as Italian, was an upsetting surprise and even my Aussie friends realised it was not a good pizza. Better be honest: I'll not be back.
Pretty disappointed with our takeaway dinner which we had recently. We have ordered pastas quite a number of times from this restaurant and it’s always been quite good. Not sure if they changed chefs but one of our pastas, the Penne al Pomodoro which I’ve had before, tasted like plain penne with ready made pasta sauce which you get from supermarkets. This is not what I would expect for an $18 pasta, honestly feel very ripped off. We also added extra meat to the order which they didn’t give us and we cbb to ask them for a refund for that portion. Lucky I had some frozen food at home to heat up! The portion has also shrunk in size compared to before. Such a shame as this eatery was good before. Service was also better previously compared now. Suggest going elsewhere if you were after pastas.

Unfortunately it was a real hit and miss experience. The service was poor with delays, mixups, missed orders. Most of the food was nice except for the octopus, which my husband couldn’t eat. Maybe they were just having a bad day but we won’t be going backFood: 3/5
