This place is absolutely stunning! The hosts have thought of everything Close to main street and exploring Hahndorf. Loved our accommodation. So clean and perfectly laid out. The little touches went a long way. From makeup wipes and cleaners to heated towel rack. So private and waking up to cockatoos and horses, just wow. Definitely going to stay there again and again.
A gorgeous little spot located in Hahndorf! The cottages are really quaint and perfect for a nice night away. They are close enough to walk in to town but also so peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5
$816 for a room on a Monday night is the most ridiculous thing ever. It’s not a 5 star resort and to ask for those crazy prices is pure madness. Hahndorf is good but not that good. I have stayed in more luxurious accommodation than this and for half the price. The rooms are dated and tiny. Not much of a view too. Also nothing is included in the stay which is stingy. If you’re lucky, you may get a few stale chocolates on arrival. An absolute rip off and should be avoided at all costs pun intended. In an economy like this, to be charging this room fee for B&B is wrong and greedy. Stupid…
My partner and I stayed at Amble for our 1 year anniversary and it was perfect. The staff are lovely and will respond to your messages quickly. You get a tranquil cottage experience with everything you need to cook and plenty of complimentary quality coffee and tea. The room is extremely comfortable with great heating and the bed was so soft. Hahndorf is just down the road with plenty for you to do, making this one of the most affordable yet high-quality experiences I have ever had.
We were lucky enough to stay at Amble for my 40th and it was better than I ever expected. From the moment we were greeted by Vanessa we knew this place was going to be special. She’s so warm and completely full Of knowledge. She showed us to our room and went though all the comforts we needed hello warm electric blankets. Spa bath and gorgeous views! she gave us the best recommendations for food and for shops to visit in Hahndorf and made us feel truly welcomed. The room is so comfortable and having a cup of tea in the serene backdrop of gardens, birds and animals was perfect. Thank you so much. We would have loved to stay longer!
We stayed at Amble to celebrate an anniversary. It was so cosy on what was a cold wet weekend and convenient to everything Hahndorf had to offer. The shower and spa bath were the best! It was so lovely to have a shower while looking out at the fields and view...so peaceful! And the endless hot water was amazing. The bed was really comfy and the apartment has everything needed for a winter weekend of relaxation. Everything is thought of! Thank you again, we'll definitely be back.
The hosts were absolutely gorgeous!! A very comfortable nights stay, 3 adults & 1 teenager and everyone had a good nights sleep. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate options and don't get me started on the spa bath! The lovely host had special salts for the spa & explained how she keeps it clean. Was not made to feel like a pest at all, in fact Vanessa walked us down to the main street and made sure we got a table at one of the pubs. Above & beyond service!! Do yourself a favour and spend a night or two, enjoy the charm and beauty that is Hahndorf!
Such a lovely and cosy place to stay. The things I loved most about this place: - great proximity to the main street, but tucked away so it's quiet and relaxing. Left the car and walked to the main street for most of our stay - 4 different sized rooms/units to choose from at the property for groups and families my partner and I stayed at the Amble Wren - the comfy king sized bed and ample bedding for the cold winter nights including an electric blanket - the spa bath and ample sized bathroom stocked with toiletries didn't use the bath, but good water pressure on shower - best part is the outdoor patio overlooking a lovely garden, where you can sit and relax whilst watching all sorts of beautiful birds fly in and out There's also an outdoor BBQ grill we didn't use it but would've been perfect for summer. Our hosts were so lovely and accommodating, check-in and check out was a breeze. I managed to snap a photo of the garden with a stunning rainbow as a backdrop after the rain, and it just summed up the weekend. Thank you Vanessa and Jamie, will definitely be back
We stayed in Amble Over Suite for two nights. What a beautiful apartment with everything you could need. The apartment was spacious, warm and comfortable with wonderful views of rural countryside from one balcony and lovely gardens from the other balcony. Enjoyed watching the birds and having a chance to feed them ourselves. Perfect distance from the main street of restaurants and shops. Can't recommend enough. Thank you :-
Room looks very comfortable, 2 nice little balconies to enjoy the view and fresh air Walkability: Most shops, actually all, are within walking distance
