Had a lunch here with a team of 6. Ordered seafood fried rice, chicken fried rice and Malabar chicken curry as main dishes. For some reason, rice smelled a bit old and funny. Food is Ok. Service ok. Have a place to wash hands.

We had our wedding anniversary  at Ambis  and they went over and above for us; everything went absolutely perfect. The restaurant owner was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, the service was great,  the function  room was very nice, and we had so many compliments about how beautiful everything was. Thanks again Ambis Indian restaurant and vimal

We tried South Indian which tasted good, quality was okay however the service was very slow seeing only 2-3 tables were occupied.

Absolutely ridiculous. Went in today to have lunch. Couldn’t get a beer with my meal as nobody in the building has an RSA!!!! Imagine if I’d have brought 10 friends in for lunch? You guys would have lost about 700$ we ate here for years and the new owners lied about Lucky the Chef leaving when they took over. They said he was on Holidays. He wasn’t, he’d left. Disgraceful way to lie to loyal customers.

Pretty good food. Staff that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The devil calamari is awesome.  Parking: Street parking an be time restricted depending on the day of the week.

Really good food. The ambiance was nice. Very clean and hygenic. Mr Vimlan ,owner, was very nice and courteous. Great food at good prices.

Food is delicious and prices are fair. However I was surprised that we were told typically we are not allowed to take home leftovers from lunch specials.Food: 5/5

The curry was nice smelling and didn't stain my clothes when I accidently dropped some while eating.

Chicken tikka masala and goat biryani is a great combo here. Get a plain lassi to help with the spice

Good South indian food. Fair prices and friendly staff.
