I enjoy walking through this supermarket. The staff always seem unhappy though, but there is a large variety of produce. A lot of the products look so beautiful but the fresh food to order just doesn't have the taste to match the look everytime I've ordered. They do have bathrooms though. All in all not fantastic, but still pleasant.
A great selection of deli items plus a drinks and food area with lots of options. Coffee is good. When you place and order, your name will be called to collect, sometimes difficult when you are alone to save your seat. Your drink may not be served as the same time as your food - I don't like leaving my drink on the table whilst I go and pick up my sandwich.nThere's toilets inside the deli and non-deli patrons also use these toilets. On the day I visited, both toilets had no toilet paper at all.
Bit into a sandwich and cockroach came out. Usually good but this is the second time this has happened with a insect inside.
Stumbled on this place as a result of trying to find a few things that are different for christmas this year. Lucky me! What a cornucopia. So many different food items both fresh and packaged from all corners of the globe.nI was after packaged foods but I salivated discretely and not over anything when I saw the range of fresh foods on offer. I will definitely return to try either a fantastic sandwich or wrap of vegetarian pie...so many options. There appeared to be plenty of seating but it's popularity meant it was pretty busy...a good sign.nnPlenty of parking outside.nnThe checkout experience was excellent...a nice friendly smiling face and a bit of chit chat. Excellent.nnFeb 25 and we hit the cafe for lunch. A vegan toastie and a vegetable lasagna...both we gave a rating of 7 out of 10...not bad but at the same time not in any way wow. The toastie was cold in places and the bread was almost like white bread...no guts to it...but fine. There is plenty on offer so a roast vegetable quiche might be the go next time of the curried vegetable pie...
Would give a much better rating if they would just clean their floors and tables!! Always dirty every time I have been. When they do clean, I watch the staff just clean the table crumbs on to the floor and walk away. Not great if you have small kids, and it ruins the food- which is actually great so it's a shame.
