Lots of places for a dog to have s wonderful time splashing around or sniffing exciting new smells. Great for meetings and greetings with other dogs  There is currently some construction work going on, so parking is not quite as easy for now.

Great beach for taking your dog for a run and a swim. Also great for dog socialisation. There are current upgrades going on but it's still easily accessible. The dry sand is a bit gritty with broken shells but overall it's a great experience for you and your dog/s

Great beach. Large variety of dogs and their humans socialising in and out of the water. Very clean. It was very rewarding wading in amongst all the little fish. There is a large water bird gathering of pelicans and such heading along the sand to the southeast. There is ample parking in the Altona Sports Club car park.

Just step over the not picked up poos and you are all good! The place is great for your 4 legged friends to have a swim, the beach is shallow and you can walk out pretty far.  A good long stretch so mever too crowded.

Just discovered this dog beach! My chihuahua and I love it! Nice shallow warm water, lots of friendly dogs and best of all, no long stinky walk to the water watching out for surprises in the sand

Great dog beach for canines of all kinds. Secluded, safe and convenient, we definitely will return.

Great dog beach except people who can’t control their dog or whose dogs aren’t friendly should remain on a leash at all times, everyone has the right to feel safe.

Great beach for the dogs.  It would be even better if dog owners cleaned up after their pets.  More bins would be excellent.
