We walked down from the main street of Milton and it was a lovely walk down. Walking in through the carpark into the gardens was absolutely perfect. Manicured gardens and lush green trees everywhere. We didn't have a booking and the staff brought in a table and chairs to sit at. We had a beer and lovely Moscato with Prosciutto. Lovely view and nice big tables with groups dining. The atmosphere was just perfect on a summers day.nnWill be back.
I can’t believe that we haven’t discovered this gem until recently. It is a beautiful venue. We enjoyed the outdoor setting very much and really enjoyed the casual and relaxed atmosphere. The food was served very quickly - the prawn dumplings were delicious.nAnd the cocktails were very good.nAnd our Assistance dog in training , Lenny enjoyed his water bowl and the setting. We will be back.
A must whenever we're in the area! Although it can be a bit pricey, Altar Bar is worth it. For good measure we always make sure to make a booking as it can often fill up fast. A nice selection of wine, cocktails, and a few beers. To be fair it is a wine bar so plan accordingly. If only we lived a bit closer and could make a trip to this establishment more often.
The perfect venue for a relaxed night out. The gardens were immaculate and as the sun set the fairy lights took over and created a lovely atmosphere. Service was fast, efficient and very friendly. The entertainment was brilliant. The free shuttle bus that picked us up and dropped us home was great thanks Phil! Can’t wait till next visit.
What an absolute gem! The food menu is beautifully curated, and the cocktail and wine list is fantastic. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us some amazing wine recommendations.nnThe setting is stunning, with gorgeous gardens and plenty of space to relax. It’s kid- and dog-friendly, with a paddock full of games to keep both kids and adults entertained.nnThere are plenty of seating options, whether you prefer to be outside or under the marquee, with lots of shade available. We also loved the live music and the convenience of the shuttle bus service for a small fee—such a great touch!nnWe’ll definitely be back soon!
