Good position in town next to the Town Hall and “Cistern Chapel” with the infamous gold throne loo. Customer service was just okay - waitstaff member wasn’t listening as we were giving our orders at the counter and kept repeating questions we had already answered, however the Barista was friendly and made a good coffee. For morning tea we had a lemon meringue tart which was nice, the pastry was buttery and short, lemon curd tangy and meringue not overly sweet.nA dollop of fresh cream would have balanced out the sweet but that’s fine.nThey had a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, kombucha and cold press coffee varieties for sale.nWheelchair access via ramp and a good selection of indoor seating.
The cafe has a great atmosphere, delicious coffee and snacks, and also has a wonderful catering selection with shop-made items.
Best coffee in Maryborough. You’re a coffee snob, this is the place. Next to the church, clock and other touristic places. Excellent for family or meetings.
Food was some of the best I’ve had in a small country town.nnKept up with some of the best breakfast joints in qld. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere is very nice.nnExcept for the fact they don’t have heating it would seem and it was bloody chilly when there.
