Carol and Sharon Salloum and the Almond Bar team will look after you as soon as you walk through the doors and escape the craziness of this city. You will forget that you are even in Darlinghurst and feel as though you are sitting in their home.

Amazing. Took the time to enjoy their Valentine's day set menu and loved every bite. I left feeling satisfied. All the flavours were so amazing and everything was delicious. The staff were super accommodating of my girlfriend's dietary requirement and food was delivered to the table at exactly the right time. Good job Almond Bar, you guys are awesome.
Had set menu dinner at VIAND pop up reastaurant at Almond Bar 21/ Oct/ 2020. Thai fusion food designed / cooked by chef Annita Potter. The nine courses composed of the most exquisite flavours combined with matching wines. Michelin standard food. You must try it.
Lovely ambience with tasty food. My fav was haloumi with grapes, pistachio and hazelnut sauce.. simply delicious. I am a vegetarian but went with my friend who eats meat and she equally enjoyed everything.
Amazing ambiance, service and of course food! We were looking for something special for our last night in Sydney and this place went beyond our expectations! Can't say enough good things about the staff who were attentive and friendly. If you're thinking of going here, just go! The rosewater ice cream is absolutely delicious, best dessert I've ever had
Love this Syrian middle eastern restaurant in the heart of Darlinghurst. It has great decor/ambience, great food, friendly and warm service. My favourite dishes are the lamb sheesh, grilled halloumi, rice with lamb and Fattoush salad. The restaurant has some great wines too. A must try. Highly recommend it.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Have been there for dinner and breakfast. Enjoyed both but like the dinner better. Loved trying the breakfast though, the food was different to anything I'd tried and the food was really yummy
So many courses and each one an astounding morsel, building towards a holistically fabulous dinner experience. Ask for the chef's recommendations on the set menu. A bittersweet visit to one of my fave places, given they're about to close for good. It's been a pleasure to watch your journey. Syrian Restaurant located in Darlinghurst. We had the Meza plate and perfectly prepared calamari. Be sure to make a reservation as the place is popular.
Great food, but extremely overpriced. Servings are tiny! Beware if you order takeaway- you will get restaurant quality food, but without the added service.
It's one of my favourite dinning spots but yet still quirky, restaurant in Sydney
