A bit of a mixed review unfortunately. The initial stages of communication were smooth, however the day before the removal date I did not receive a call confirming a pick up time as outlined in the quoting process. On the day of removal I called at 9am to be informed there was no record of my removal date being locked in despite paying and receiving email confirmation. After chasing around my "move manager" for a few hours, the Perth warehouse team contacted me. To their credit, the actual removalists in the Perth were great. They stayed back that day to ensure the collection was completed and were very efficient - however we had to pre-pack everything to make sure it would be collected that day. Communication from the move management team wasn't great - I had to chase them up to confirm where the shipment was and determine when the storage bill would come through. Just a heads up, the storage is billed quarterly in advance. The Melbourne delivery people were great. On time, efficient and great to communicate with. The 2 stars is for the removalist people as they were great! Unfortunately no stars for the administration/move manager as it was a stressful process.
delivery from Melbourne to Brisbane… My delivery from Melbourne to Brisbane arrived with significant water damage, and damage in general. Things had been clearly left out in the wet for a significant period of time as surface mould was apparent. We have insurance but am yet to here back from the email address that I was provided. As a customer paying a significant amount of $ I expect a level of service and duty of care that was clearly not there
Overall a good experience moving a 3 br house from Victoria to Queensland.. Initial consult & quote was very prompt & organised. I did find my move manager was a little slow in communication once our initial connection was established & took a day or so to reply to my questions. Pick up team were excellent, very efficient & friendly. Container/s got delayed by a week due to flooding outside of Brisbane not their fault Unloading team were also great & put everything where it needed to go, hauling heavy items up stairs. A couple of minor dings/scratches on items put in a mixed box towards the end of packing but partially my fault due to not bothering to pack them in properly & bubble wrap them. Everything else arrived intact, nothing damaged or missing. Would recommend them as a long distance moving company.
Generally not happy with the service. Excessive damage and looks like a number of items were dropped and damaged. Had insurance and claimed some items but lots of bumps, scratches and damage to items. Difficult to work with for invoicing and received a number of invoices after they’d been paid. Cost competitive but comes at a cost I guess. Won’t use again.
Oh my container is still sitting in Brisbane. Meant to be here last Tuesday, and God only knows when it will arrive. Your staff are nice, but lm still without my furniture...silly asking for a review when the job has not been completed, but if you want one here you go :
