Story

We run French classes for anyone from the age of 3 and over, with Petite Ecole classes for children aged from 3 to 6 years, 5 to 8 years and 9 to 12 years. We also offer high school classes from Years 8 to 12 and students can undertake their SACE Stage 1 and 2 French Continuers subjects with us and have them count towards their SACE. We have a myriad of classes for adult learners also, ranging from complete beginners right up to proficient speakers. Our teachers are all French native-speakers who have experience in teaching French as a foreign language and all staff members have successfully been criminal history screened through the Department of Education.

While I believe that the teachers are among the best in their field and the events put on are a lot of fun, the admin staff, director, and committee seem to be disconnected from the actual learning experience and feedback provided by students. After having been a student here for years, most of my class including myself has left in search of other options. I made the attempt of taking my concerns all the way up the chain to the committee where I was promised some follow up and discussion - I never heard from them again. It’s disappointing because I used to thoroughly enjoy my lessons here and had planned to send my son there for their youth activities. Instead, it seems the primary focus has shifted towards $ at the sacrifice of the learning experience. I’m not sure how many teachers and students will need to leave before they get a clue, but I really hope they do at some point.
Excellent teachers, material Cosmopolite, and cultural activities. Receptionist has always been very friendly and willing to help in anything necessary. I can’t think in anything they need to improve… just keep the employees happy & well paid and I’m sure they’ll keep up with the good work
A little piece of France in Adelaide. My daughter enjoyed the classes each week which has aided with her French marks at school. The team are incredibly helpful and have assured with lessons and borrowing books from their library. We receive updates on French activities, wine tastings, festivals etc via the membership which we actively use.
