Story

The Alliance Française opened its doors to the Perth community in 1911 and is proud to celebrate its centenary in 2011 through many exciting events. The centre enrols around 1,500 students each year, with a maximum of 12 students per class. In 2010 the centre extended its premises to 105 Broadway to provide a better learning environment. Our teaching staff is fully qualified and follows up-to-date methods. Courses are modelled after the Common European Framework of References for Languages and comply with the criteria of the DELF and DALF diplomas. The centre offers a wide range of courses, from beginner to advanced levels for adults, courses for children and teenagers and special courses.

I came here after an appointment to the French consulate next door, and found a lovely cultural center. I was welcome by the director who explained everything about the AF: how to become a member, possibilities to learn French, borrow French books, attend to movie night.. lovely!

Alliance Francaise de Perth is by far the best school I have ever studied French at. The school is very helpful in addressing any questions you might have and provides the necessary guidance to enabling you to have the best learning experience. Additionally, the school offers an abundance of extra activities outside of class that you can immerse yourself in to expand your learning opportunities and connect with others on the same French language learning journey as yourself.

If you want to learn French with native teacher, it is definitively the place to go. Lots of cultural events happen allow you to be immerse in the French culture

I completed several years of French lessons with the Alliance Francaise de Perth and every year I learnt more than the previous and the teachers were always helpful and engaging creating new ways to teach and make the classes fun. It is definitely the best place in Perth to learn French weather a beginner or more advanced, the lessons have helped give me a head start to living in France and being able to communicate.

Friendly staff and very practical  specially my beautiful french teacher Andrea Marc. She is the best!!! Have learnt so much from her for the past weeks. Really grateful for your efforts in teaching us. Merci beaucoup Madame:

They have called me many times as they are a customer of mine. I have no idea what their specialty is funnily enough, but their women have the sexiest accents that I have ever heard.  When they call, my ears are given a sensual ring by their lovely accents. The phonic pleasure of their English with that French accent is unmatched.

I had a very pleasant experience with Alliance Française de Perth! If you will ever have a chance to visit, you will only have a best attitude, very competent staff and very nice, French ambiance. My best wishes, R.B.
