Great modern bistro. Some sophisticated dishes on the menu surprised my with a great result. They have just started doing lunch weekends and Sunday brunch, which is great for us who love day dining. Check the seasonal specials, ours were great
Here for a celebration and with recommendations from friends. Professional and friendly staff, nice environment but the food is generally too salty. Tight table space and wobbly chair. Fettuccine has a rubbery texture and the rock oysters have a bitter after taste. The tiramisu taste good but I would rather prefer the traditional presentation without the pop candy. I like the flavour of the seared tuna and bruchetta.
Great location. Service was average...waitress didn’t care if we were there or not. Pasta was cold. Medium rare steak was tough and overdone. No attempt at rectifying the issue which is my biggest annoyance. The restaurant did re-serve the pasta at the appropriate temperature but that was 1/2 pastas both were cold ordered. Tries too hard to be upmarket but misses basics. I hate leaving a negative review but...
Had the degustation on a Tuesday night. Fairly busy but the service was good and the food came out efficiently. Food was delicious and creative. Reminiscent of ester when it first started. Fun relaxed night.
Really interesting contemporary Italian cuisine, with very unique modern twists of classics. The staff are very friendly and attentive, really enjoyed dining there.
Loved this place, came here for brunch and got their charcuterie board, 2 pastas and steak and cocktails and and tiramisu, everything was well cooked and service and decor was lovely
While I was disappointed overall, the food is very good. Taste is the big thing going on at Allegra Dining. The staff are very friendly too. That said, I left feeling overcharged for the dinner I came for. While the food is great, the serving sizes are small. My partner and I had seven dishes to reach feeling near full. Further, there's no real atmosphere. The aim for modernity with cement brick walls and table chairs that leave you achingly uncomfortable really take away from the experience. Still, I'll try it for lunch and bring my own cushion

My partner and I had a great time here. Amazing food - we had the chef's menu - standouts were the salted cod crostini and the cured salmon & sea urchin...and not to mention the dessert was one of the best we've had! There was one item the pizza starter on the menu that wasn't as good as the other items, so hopefully that will be subbed with something else the next time we come back here.
Visited for lunch and really enjoyed our meal, would definitely visit again! : Food- enjoyed all dishes, we had bread to start, pasta, sides of truffle fries and brocollini. Well-seasoned but not ever overly so. Portion sizes were good, we were stuffed. Drinks- smooth coffee, very much enjoyed our wine recommendation of an Italian red, and well-stocked bar yes we tried a little of everything haha Ambience- restaurant has lovely interior to celebrate a special occasion or just nice meal. There's a cute courtyard with water feature outside the restaurant also Service- friendly and fast service :
