Upmarket, private and very comfortable bed. There were 2 problems with the hot water system- in the shower not working and the hot and cold taps round the wrong way.nGlass screen door not easy to lock. Room 5A.
Recently stayed at the Quest Whyalla, located close to all facilities required.nUpon arrival to the room I found that the connecting door allowed unrestricted access to the adjoining room, which was occupied but no guests present at the time. I asceratined that those guests could not gain return access to our room. I advised reception but the problem was unable to be fixed. It does raise serious concerns about why a guest can discover this security issue and not Quest staff, and how many other rooms are affected in a simiar way. Certainly puts a different perspective on when rooms have connecting doors and you think you and your belongings are secure.
Good hotel with nice modern rooms. Many amenities available. Easy checkin and checkout.
Great service, well maintained rooms. Highly recommended.
Except the bed, which is not that bad, everything deserves a five-star rating. Hopefully hotel management will fix that issue quite easily. Right from the check-in till check-out it was really good and trouble-free experience. Will definitely recommend this as a best place to stay in Whallya.
