It is big. About a good size to stretch my little toe. It is managed, sort of nicey; needs a few things. It is being formally improved as time goes-by with expansions across the road and surrounding limited space. It does have a lot going for it, perhaps I am just fussy or unnerved by its gradual occupation. Swimming-pool. Rock climbing, skate park, toilets, cafe, mac donalds, variety of gardens and paths, even more if you know. In fact despite it limited ??? it is a growing community effort. It has not steered to far from many years prior, but has added in subtle improvements and is maintained as an enriched garden to enjoy.nnIf fact there is a lot of review I am not telling. If you want to read about it, it is better to frequent the place a handful of times to understand.nThanks for reading.
We had a picnic lunch on a shady bench overlooking the lake and water birds. A lovely spot. Clean toilets near the Cafe. A good spot to stop and break our 3 hr drive.
Beautiful park for the community. Need to keep an eye out on snakes otherwise seems to be family friendly. Visited 20+ times over six year period and has always been well taken care of gardens and clean minority let's it down with littering that happens anywhere you go unfortunately.
This is a good one, free outdoor swimming pool with changing facilities and couple of electric bbq. Small lake, slides for kids to play with many other options. There is a prison next to it, so don’t forget to walk up. Dedicated fern park, which needs more maintenance but still a pleasant experience.
Best park in Ararat. Highly recommend for people who want to go for walk to relax and chill.nIt also has bbq area for those who want to have party.
