An excellent fish and chip shop! My only complaint is it's too far from my house!! We chose the twisted chip based on Google reviews and we were not disappointed. The guy who served us was lovely. The prices are reasonable and the good was DELICIOUS. We've had trouble getting nice chips in our area lately and the fish is a miss altogether. But here at the twisted chip the fish was crispy and delicious, the chips were crispy and delicious as believe it or not, so was the chicken schnitzel burger. The gravy was really good too. My daughter had the burger and said the bun was really good. She had to take half the chicken out so she could actually bite it. My daughter can pack her food away and said she couldn't have eaten much more. The chips served with our fish packs were very generous portions and my son who wasn't with us polished off the leftovers when we got home saying they must have been amazing hot if they were that good cold. I'm really pleased we stopped here for lunch on our way home from our southern adventure and I'm hoping we can make plans to head that way again Kid-friendliness: It's a fish and chip shop! Every kid will find something they want! Parking: Shopping centre car park. Easy as.

I was excited to try the twisted chip on a stick special and loved it! Also had a cooked chicken and two salads which were amazing. The Waldorf salad was my fave. Really friendly staff too, much better than the previous shop ngl. 10/10 would recommend!

I think we lucked out purchasing dinner here ! New owners apparently. Waited one hour for our food which was disgusting. A lady did return complaining about her family’s food , I wish I’d done the same ! Not being ungrateful at all but when your chips are yellow & stale your potato fritter is so thick it’s not cooked inside at all …..fish ok …..dim sims ok……crab sticks ok ……but over all a really unpleasant meal and most definitely will not be going back!!
Tonight I ordered two quarter chicken cold acks, $28 later. Got home and saw it had no chips. My bad it said on menu no chips. I'm just used to fish and chip shops including them. The chicken was a minuscule piece of meat, there were plenty of chickens left. And tbh the salads weren't much to talk about. Can't believe I spent $30 and was still hungry. One order which was minimum of chips was good, but again very timely. The staff work their butts off cooking and preparing the food. And are very friendly. Won't be going back again, can't afford to and sick of wasting my time. Sucks as I like to support local businesses. Champion Fish and chip shop in christies it is. Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not wheelchair accessible. I wouldn't be able to get my daughter in the shop. Far to small and chairs too close to door for access.
Large schnitzel burger, but not made as requested so couldn’t eat due to dietary requirements. Smallest serving of chips and gravy for the cost and all very soggy from sitting under the heat lamp. Order wasn’t called out so waited a long time. Second attempt here and won’t be back, especially considering the cost is high. $42 for 2x schnitzel burgers, tiny chips and a gravy and 2x dim sims.
Requested flake, a spring roll, plain hamburger didn’t have any of these. We ordered three barramundis yet weren’t cooked, 8 potato cakes were all hard inside. Chicken Parma wasn’t the best. However the chips were ok. Very disappointed for the price we paid.
