Went to aldi yesterday to get 2 drinks and a few baby stuff, guy at the checkout wouldn’t let me pay until I showed him my I.D, wasn’t buying any alcohol. guy was rude to me especially after showing him i.d. was not happy with customer service at all
Good selection of products, really like the household items collection in the centre. Very good prices
We love Aldi anywhere around Oz on our travels. However, Byford Village need to lift their game. We found at least 4 punnets of strawberries still in date with fungus on the fruit. I informed the manager who said he'd deal with it. Well, by the time we left he hadn't and some unlucky shopper had picked one up and it probably went unsuspecting into their trolley. Also, the trolley wipes were empty as was the hand spray, not to mention a trolley with rubbish and festering food scraps at the trolley bay. Not good enough, Byford.
Love the easy access and the clean look and feel to the shop. Like many other shops it is experiencing problems keeping up with stock after the pandemic, but generally speaking I think they're doing a great job.
Aldi is Aldi I go there infrequently as it doesn't stock what I'm looking for ... in saying that I do like to look on their sales racks in the middle. When I go it usually has good quality meat and veg their dairy is OK and the pet food I'd good. It is usually pretty reasonable in prices.
