One of the worst Aldi stores I've ever encountered. Chronically short of stock, across all categories. Other stores nearby don't have this issue, so one can only assume stock is not properly managed and ordered.nStaff are generally friendly, but doesn't change how frustrating a place it is to shop.
I truely hope they aren’t scamming their young workers into unpaid work. I heard a worker tell their manager they finished at 12pm and to get a replacement for the till but when I was served at 12:02 there was no replacement in sight and by the way the manger reacted who was just standing near by it seemed like this was a usual occurrence. The amount may seem small but never allow your bosses to commit wage theft. It adds up over time.nnI have been a manager at various places and I would absolutely never do that to my staff.
I can finally shop at aldi without the sensory overload of having my items thrown at me at the end of the checkout yayyy!!! the self serves are easy to use, you don’t have to use them but they don’t take anyone’s jobs away!nnplease do something about the people who hang out the front of the store though! I’ve nearly tripped over them so many times and have been verbally abused by them!
Ahhhh ALDI, this one is a real winner. The store is clean and well-stocked, the staff are approachable and helpful, the fresh produce seems to have improved significantly over the last few years and the packaged food range has also increased in size. Obviously the middle section where the weekly special items are can be hit and miss but I find this store usually has almost everything available. Bonus points for the killer views at the top level of the carpark!
Great ALDI. Please Be Aware, that there is multi-level undercover parking Behind ALDI on David Street, which is accessible via Glenlyon Road. It's surprising the amount of people that think they have to park on Sydney Road. Hope this helps somebody :-
