ALDI always provides great value and quality for money, especially essential staples and kitchen/bathroom/ laundry cleaning products priced some 30% less than major supermarkets. Dairy, confectionery, frozen goods, fruit & veg, meat competitively priced and very good quality. In addition, you’re bound to find something you can’t live without in their weekly ‘specials’ aisle like handy gadgets, kids books, lovely bedding and sheet sets etc Looking forward to seeing more Aldi stores in Far North Queensland! I'm so so so thrilled Aldi is in Townsville finally after pushing for it for so long!! It's halved my grocery bill so I'm very thankful. Love the different variety of items you can get each week and to try new things. There's something for everyone. Love Aldi! :
The space is just not fitted and suited for a Aldi store. It is always chaotic and stock not available. When you are lucky and it is all stocked up, it is cramped but worth the trip.
We hear others complain it is not as good as other Aldis down south, but we enjoy shopping here. Prices are good compared to local supermarkets and produce is better quality. Having been there on a weekly basis, we have gotten to know the staff who are friendly and helpful - just another reason to shop there!
