I went there tonight to shop for some fruit. The customer service was good. The lady was nice to help me to cut the bag of Mandarin as I am a visitor here in Newcastle and didn't have anything around to cut the package of mandarins. Variety of things in the shop. Excellent location, close to hotels.
The fresh fruit and veg here is generally magnificent and very well priced compared to some of the other places around *cough* Coles Woolies *cough*. Don’t get sucked in by the crazy middle aisle of stuff-you-don’t-need-but-at-a-great-price.. you’ll end up spending more than you’ve saved..
This branch has 6 self-scanning checkouts, which is good if there are queues with the assisted lanes.
Great location with large parking area. This Aldi store on the Union St is quite large and always well stocked. It is bright and clean with great layout. The staff are friendly. Very good shopping experience each time shopping here! However the deep trolley can be inconvenient sometimes. Hope a shallow trolley or a shopping basket will be available soon.
Easy to park. Great selection and the weekly specials are a great range.
