Only started coming here to Glenelg ALDI and has everything you need and good prices.
Having been a Aldi shopper since they opened in SA, I am disgusted with the service level since they introduced self serve checkouts, especially at Glenelg SA. Having waited for 8 mins at checkout, they belatedly opened another checkout then called people just lined up behind me through the new checkout. Maybe the person walking around waving and sucking on her keys before opening the checkout should use a little commonn sense.nThey wonder why they have full trolleys to return to the shelves.
Your older male staff member who served us at the checkout today in Glenelg Tuesday 4th June at 9.40am was SO rude to my Mother and myself. We both relayed our disappointment to him at his disgusting attitude and he replied with an even ruder response and nasty booming tone, and in ear-shot of another lady customer who raised her eyebrows this happening. We are new shoppers to Aldi who have frequented your establishment a handful of occasions and from this experience today we will not he returning anytime in the future. Reports such as this should be taken seriously by management as word of mouth is very powerful.nnUsually, your staff are quite well mannered but this person was an exception to this experience.nnI am happy to relay the scenario in private conversation if you wish.nnThis is extremely poor customer service.
Perhaps Monday afternoon is not a good time to shop here . Lots of empty shelves ie no long grain rice , no 500g salted butter and no 700g eggs . Thought these were basic items but apparently not. It was interesting that the checkout person did not ask if we found everything we wanted .
Plenty of parking. Nice staff. You can get some good deals. You have to keep an eye. Detergents are good with good prices. Some toys are Really nice with reasonable prices.
