It's convenient though it quite often runs out of food if you get there late in the day

Leichhardt Aldi has the best range of products out of all the immediate Aldi stores I.e. Marrickville Metro, Ashfield, CanterburynIt has a bottle shop with a wide range.nIt's meat is really good & competitivenE.g I've been purchasing Scoth Fillet there since Easter 2024. I normally bought my meat from Coles Leichhardt on Norton StreetnnLeichhardt Aldi s range of frozen goods are great also rangingbfrom a variety of pizzas to Greek cheese spanakopita.nnIt also has vegetables & fruit at  competitive prices and they are located as soon as you walk in.

Every time I go there hoping it gets a bit better but nope, still no plant based food and the prices are not even much better than Panetta and WW around the corner.

We need more big discount stores like Aldi, this one in Leichhardt has the same great prices. Big selection of cheeses, feta, brie, camembert, ricotta, dutch style. A good selection of spirits, wines and beer. I don’t usually go here for clothes or other goods though sometimes you can find deals on camping gear. I did pick up a cheap knock around pair of sandals for $7.
