My partner purchased a sim card pack last week and used the sim card last night to change from Telstra to Aldi mobile. She brought in the receipt as she had purchased the pack at the self service checkout which means she never got a voucher code so the $25 voucher wouldn't work. She brought in the pack and receipt to which the manager “Stuart” started telling her she shouldn't have entered the voucher code herself to which nowhere at the checkouts this was stated and began cursing under his breath and sighing loudly. It was the most uncomfortable, upsetting and unprofessional service she had ever received and has left her feeling very deflated and upset. As an anxious person she was left very upset by the whole ordeal to which she told me. I on the other hand don’t tolerate such a thing. If you’re a manager and someone approaches you with a genuine question it should be your first port of call to treat the customer right, not to curse and moan just because it’s a Wednesday morning and you’d rather be anywhere but the job you’ve been lucky to get. So in future I’d hope that some form of manners gets implemented because of your management is happy to go around doing it what sort of example does that leave the younger staff and customers who hear the carry on and to the young guy who was originally dealing with the issue at the till I’ve heard nothing but praise for you and to be honest I think you’d do a better job at being a manager
Great ALDI, Great variety, probably one of the best regarding variety & quality I've been to. My problem is customer service. I accidentally went to the wrong checkout, & when the cashier named James told me that I had to go to the other checkout, with a tut, a sigh, and a condescending smirk, he still proceeded to put my other groceries allowed thru, even tho I told him not to, & expected me to walk to the correct checkout for my remaining items. That's not productive. When he finally heard me say stop, he rolled his eyes & another condescending smirk at me as if I was putting him out. When I did get to the correct checkout eventually, the woman was wonderful & apologised. I wish I got her name, she was fantastic & a credit to ALDI stores

The aldi in fortitude valley Qld they have the shelves and fruit veges always perfectly mainly in Sydney especially Bondi junction they are discussing
Excellent customer service from staff member in self serve on 15/01/2023 at 7pm. I was looking for a battery from a previous special buy l had bought air pump & charger at another ALDI but had forgotten battery. Staff member found the one battery left, assured me it's correct battery & thanks to his outstanding customer service & care my air pump is complete. I was very impressed, great attitude!
