I like this ALDI location. Very convinient, next to the city. I can drop in from work to do shopping. What i hate most is the carpark hard to get one at times. Non Aldi shoppers parks here like the residence, people who goes to the gym. Quite frustrating. Cant wait for the carpark boom gate to get operational.
Very disappointing experience at ALDI Magill Rd, Norwood on Friday at 7:55 p.m.nnI was in the store for less than five minutes to buy some biscuits. I had an office backpack with me, which I never opened or even touched while shopping. I simply picked up the biscuits and went to the checkout to pay.nnWhile I was paying, the cashier asked me to open my backpack and checked it in front of other customers, as if I had stolen something.nnI completely understand the need to prevent theft, but there should be reasonable grounds for suspicion before publicly checking a customer’s personal belongings. I had not opened my backpack, put anything inside it, or done anything suspicious.nnI felt extremely embarrassed, humiliated and unfairly treated. I left the store feeling like I had been treated as a thief for absolutely no reason.nnALDI should review how these situations are handled and ensure customers are treated with dignity and respect.
Located in Magill Road Norwood. Plenty of parking spaces. Spacious store and plenty of space between aisles. Not sure whether I went on the wrong day/time not much fresh produce available. The checkout counter service is so fast! They have 2 at a time serviceable counters, so the first person can peacefully pack the items without trying to rush as the next person will have their own packing area.
Wonderful place to shop. Particularly because I found the staff so helpful. They went out of way to help me get my ALDI sim card going with a voucher with new sim, as I was facing problems with online purchase of the plan. Amazing part: they even refunded the cost of my earlier sim!
A very spacious store, good wide spaces between shelves & it's kept nice & clean. Plenty of fresh meat, vegetables, dry goods & drinks. It's just a pity they use impprted pork for their speck, as Australia has the best meat & produce in the world.
