I rarely check shopping receipts until shopping at Top Ryde City Aldi. First, I noticed I was charged twice for a product. Luckily, we caught that so, went back in the store same afternoon for refund of the doubled up item, no issue there except for the hassle of having to go in twice. Next, about a week or two from first one, I was charged full price for a clearance item. Again, I had to go back in and this time I returned the item and got the full refund. Besides that, one of the check-out staff had terrible body odour which really is a torture to put up with for shoppers. One would expect Aldi to take such things seriously.
As usual ALDI experience. Limited selection of food items. Then at the checkout you have to act like the world going to end in few seconds. No idea what why all ALDI checkout staff rushing everything. If someone takes 1-2 seconds to give money or tap the card they get frustrated.
This review is mainly for their billing system. They wait for around 10 members to queue up at one counter before considering to open another. There is hardly any room for people to move around when so many are waiting in queue. Otherwise a good store with good staff.
The timing displayed out side store shows that shop will remain open till 9:00 However we found that staff had closed shutter to entry at 8:10 PM
The prices are the best part. If you are on a budget and you need quality products, head down to aldi. Great products, although the shop is small compared to coles and woolies.
Great place for bargain shopping
Today I'm visiting to Aldi Top Ryde Shopping Centre for Shopping I'm very happy from Aldi Service especially Customer service Representative at chek in Desk name is Sayed, Sayed is very professional and smiling face Officer Aldi Top Ryde is very fortunate because there are virtuous and Talented employee like Sayed. Good layout but always busy. Seems to be out of stock of alot of items of late.
Nice friendly staff, shelves always stocked up.
Staff always grumpy and Checkout always rude and throws your shopping instead of passing it to you properly.
