OMG! Alberts kitchen presents stunning, warm & welcoming exterior from the outside. However, walk into a homely, luxurious atmosphere welcomed by friendly staff. I've never been to a Bakery where it took me @ least 10 minutes just to decide what to have for lunch. I recommend everything as there is no one thing to try. Escape the hustle & bustle of your work day & drop into Albert's Kitchen today for a taste explosion & a relaxing snack or meal.
Everytime I seem to go to pick up a coffee and loaf or bread/cakes the staff seem to be quite awkward and have some type of attitude. Numerous staff look at you uo and down and are very quick to hurry the sale up. I've decided now not to go back now as each time I go its the same and it's annoying to say the least. They are expensive and their overpriced bread is not one to rave about either. I keep thinking they will be different next time yet over the past year its the same dull experience. A bit of music and energy in the store wouldn't go astray.
Scrumptious European bakery treats & foodie products packages up in a beautiful space. Limited seating means it's not too rowdy. Good service from lovely, accommodating humans
Such a cute little slice of Europe, I wish it was closer to home and I would certainly frequent it. The clientele are known by name, which says enough about the place. The most delicious baking and scrumptious European sausages.
Albert's is one is my favorite bakeries in Auckland. I can't go past the bruschetta, there's also a great selection of artisan bread and pastries. Mercer cheese is also available.
