Been coming here for over twenty years. They've had their moments over that time. Last visit last Friday was the last time I will be there. The prices have gone up, the quality has gone down. Blue Cod, $9.30 somehow shrunk and was way overcooked I ended throwing that out along with an overcooked onion sausage. I will not be going back.
Fish and chips, Chinese dish, good taste and best price, cheapest compare to other similar store. The chips is crispy, yum and so cheap with lots of quantity for $2. Clean area, easy car park, I recommended.
If you want decent chips etc this is the place. Chinese meals are good reasonably priced. You get a reasonable amount for your money.Food: 5/5
Hole in the wall shop offering lots of fried options for fish and chips and Chinese food. Tons of food for very cheap. I was not expecting the fried mountain of chips that accompanied the fish.
The food is awesome, well priced and the chips are the old style that I remember from when I was a kid. They don't use the horrible bought in frozen chips which is super rare these days. Both the fish and chips menu and the Chinese meal menu are both so delicious and value for money. The staff have some great cooking skills. The shop is small and old but look past that and experience some great food. I have loved this shop for years
I love the albatross Fish supply. They are the best fish and chips in town, they offer the most generous serving of chips that you can find in Invercargill. along with the largest pieces of fish and blue cod.
The fish was nicr but the chips were basically crumbs. The shop needs renovation but the service was good and they made my order very fast
A total waste of money the batter was so thick and rubbery and couldn't find the fish it was disgusting
Very good. Best chips in town. Non greasy and tasty. I ordered a fish burger but couldn't finish it. Was huge. Generous portions and reasonably priced
Fish and chips were great! Shame that I paid $19.50 for 6 oysters raw, but they were cooked. Grrr :
