What a beautiful venue! We were in luck, a prior booking was delayed an hour and we got to enjoy this beautiful courtyard. Dinner was delicious! The service above all was amazing. We felt welcomed and looked after by the staff. Thank YOU team Al Forno!!
***This review is based on takeaway pizza only and not a dine in restaurant experience*** When you are paying top dollar for a pizza which i consider $25 plus then you are expecting great pizza. This was okay pizza. Everyone likes their pizza different. The base was thin which I like, but a little chewy. I would prefer a more toppings for example... large pizza... only 4 olives see photo.
Just ordered the most delicious takeaway! After reading all the fabulous reviews I was very excited to try the food here. I went with the Parmesan and pesto risotto and… it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious meal. Serving size was huge! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
Definitely it is the best restaurant in bussel, the mussel pot is so tasty and well cleaned, served with bread and chips. pasta is creamy but chicken breast is dry. Chia latte was alright. Total spend 57$. The restaurant is always busy, need to make reservations in advance. They also have delivery which is very convenient. Will come back again.
Absolutely Delicious… 5 star rating Yet again we had a fabulous meal at one of Busselton’s most outstanding restaurants! The food is amazing, the waitstaff are so attentive and friendly. Pricing is so very reasonable and we’ll certainly be back soon. Such amazing food!! I have shared my experience with so many people and cannot wait to go back and try more. The seafood pasta with red sauce, I wanted it to never end
The food was good and customer service is great. One of the most popular items on menu according to Google maps was lasagne but I found it pretty average. Coq au vin was just alright too but I preferred the other dishes we ordered a lot more. Mushroom risotto, lamb smthit was a special not on the menu and boeuf bourguignon were all very good. The meat was tender and not too chewy. The mushroom risotto had a more subtle taste and I couldn't stop eating it. I would give 5 stars but the food took nearly an hour to arrive and I was really hungry. Although, we did order 6 dishes.
Take away pizzas were very good with thin base and crispy crust. We will be going back! Tip# order early, they get really busy and takeaway can take 45mins.
Overall, great service and atmosphere. In terms of food, I’m guessing this place focuses on pizzas and pastas. We ordered the Coq au vin or penne lamb ragu, given they are mains on the menu. Both were overly salty, unfortunately. We couldn’t finish either dish and was disappointed given the price point was nearly $30 each.
Love this little Vibing Italian restaurant. If you want to drink with your meal byo wine with a 2.50 corkage fee. Food was excellent and well sized and they were happy to organise takeaway containers. The creme Brulee dessert was incredible and we left completely satisfied. Staff were lovely and checked on us often even though we were out on the patio.
