I had the grilled SeaFood platter, 10/10 best Seafood platter I've had in Australia.nAll around incredible.nTried a cake as well which was also 10/10, heard the table next to us also saying how their food was the best they've had.nCome try this place out it's perfect!
I had a wonderful experience dining at Akira's. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness from the staff, which set a delightful tone for the evening. The chef's passion for culinary excellence was evident in every dish, and I could sense the care and attention put into the meal preparations.nnThe ambience of the restaurant is truly enchanting, featuring soft lighting and tasteful decor that create a calm and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing meal, allowing for engaging conversation without the distraction of loud noises. Overall, my visit to Akira's was not just a dining experience, but a truly enjoyable evening that I would happily revisit.
After seeing all the high ratings, I have to say I was skeptical - but I decided to go along for a late lunch on Saturday - to see for myself.nnThe menu is a little daunting, covering Italian, Indian and Western style options, so I took the staff's recommendation and ordered the lamb rack. After trying the food, I'm sure the other dishes would be excellent.nnWhen the dish came out, I was blown away - great aroma and presentation, and a generous portion! The taste was on point as well, with a nice caramelization and rendering, served on a bed of creamy mash and jus.nnThis place is indeed a hidden gem, perfect for families or even a relaxed solo meal. I look forward to returning and trying out some of the other dishes
Hands down, the BEST food in South Perth! Gopi and Sam, the lovely owners, make you feel right at home with their 5-star service. Seriously, the food is incredible—everything is fresh, tasty, and out of this world! Plus, you don’t have to wait forever when you’re hungry, which is a major win. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast don’t miss the delicious coffees and pastries, lunch, or dinner, this place is a MUST-TRY if you're south of the river!
I took my family to Akira for dinner and we ordered a variety of dishes, including a seafood plate, vege korma, butter chicken and calamari salad. Our best meal so far on this trip. The kids cheeseburger was tasty and high quality in beef. Highly recommend
