First time, Nice place, really enjoyed performance, was entertaining for me but everyone else said that they're normally more energetic and it creates a really amazing atmosphere. So I don't know if I missed out or not
Terrible Service. Table booked for 7pm. Took forever to actually start cooking. Over priced for what you got- told them guests were all still hungry, can’t even say we had entree size meal. When I mentioned people still hungry was shot down with we give everyone 60grams serve!!! Gave them opportunity to cook a bit more, refused, said would give us 5% off adults, at $33/head that’s like $1.50 off! Wouldn’t discount the kids either. Eventually I got them to ring the “Boss” as all I was dealing with was a tired young waitress working on her own and a rude grumpy chef, eventually got 10% off - wow- $3 pp. Was going to spend more then that on way home on food for 10 still hungry kids. Also, as others mentioned- the place STINKS, randomly the smell of dirty stagnate water would waft in. Terrible service- did not care his customers were far from satisfied. Place should be shut down, couldn’t handle a booking of about 30, adults and children. Don’t waste your money.
$37 each and we got four mini spring rolls each, 50g of fish, two prawns, 50g of chicken and 50g of beef all of which were tasteless and plain rice if you were lucky enough to catch it and were happy to wait an hour and a half after your booking time for the chef to start. We literally went home hungry! Incredibly expensive and I feel really bad for the guests who didn't eat seafood because all they got was the mini spring rolls, chicken and beef. The bar remained unattended most of the night as there was only one waitress on. The place stunk like sewerage, particularly the bathroom. Really expensive and really poor service, not worth the price for the "entertainment". Really disappointing first time at teppanyaki.
The food doesn't represent the value of money wasted there. Majority of food portions is spilled on the ground while the chef trying to do a very silly and unsuccessful show. You definitely end up not eating there. No enough staff to serve the large number of customers that are stacked beside each other. The food is tasteless and plain and doesn't compare to any quality Japanese food. Last but not least, the Chef is rude and doesn't have respect to anyone. He would throw the food on you even if you ask him not too. His English language is incompetent.
We had a great time, the chef we got had just started. Everything was great food was well cooked and everything was fresh. i particularly liked the dipping sauces. The beef was so-so in flavoring but not a big deal when there are sauces.
I've been here twice so goes to show it has decent food. First time we had a great chef with an energetic attitude to the cooking and customer interaction. The second time that chef was less enthusiastic and more quiet however. Also not the most spectacular tricks.but a good show.non the less and not a bad first teppanyaki experience
DO NOT GO HERE! My experience here was absolutely terrible. We had a reservation for 730 and didn't get seated till 830 for starters. They said they would take 10% off the price and free soft drinks but forced me to pay when I went to the bar. The food was not the best either, steak over cooked and barely any flavour in the chicken, tastes like they cheap out on their meat. Went to pay the bill and they took off the 10% but charged the 3 children aged 7 4 and 2 as adults and said that we didnt say at the start that we wanted kids price, so after their so called "re-calculation" they said it was $9 cheaper which made no sense as the kids price was over $10 cheaper per child. They "recalculated" and I asked 3 times if 10% was taken off and they said yes but it hadn't been at all so they did it after I calculated it. DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible service, would never recommend this place to anyone.
Very disappointing! ! Waitress had no idea what she was doing! We booked a table for 9 got there a little early, chose our banquet while we waited for our guests. Then 5min later the waitress was about to serve our entre when no one had even arrived, waited upto 40minutes just for drinks! Beer wasn't cold! The entertainment throwing the food they only threw the rice & egg. Fried rice was plain rice with bits of carrot nothing else except from soy sauce. Desert of the day... 1 table spoon of melted ice cream with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. We ordered a banquet & didn't receive our miso soup not even offered an alternative. Overall I'd definitely not recommend this place to anyone it was very disappointing. If you want to try teppanyaki I highly recommend Beverly Hills you won't be disappointed!
Dinner and a show in one! Fun for the whole family. Price is around the average price you would pay for a family to go to a restaurant. Also a great place to go with friends. They cook the food on front of you and it is amazing to watch
Worst Night Ever. Took my daughter for her birthday they did not even have the booking sorted for the 20 people we had in our party. Did not complete any of their online menu and when asked they advised that they have updated their in house menu. less for more. If your vegetarian do not go.
