Found a fly on my ramen. When I reported, the waitress doubted me and just asked me what do I want to happen. She even said that the ramen is also almost finished so why wasn't the fly got noticed right away. I explained that it was buried at the bottom of all the noodles and vegetables. I demanded for a refund but she and her boss were very hesitant. They offered 20% refund but I declined. It ended with 50% refund. Note: She explained that all foods are stored in the fridge and get heated in the oven so it's impossible for any insect to get to them. On that note, their foods are NOT FRESHLY MADE.
The worst Japanese meal I have ever eaten. I waited 55 minutes for two take away dons and a side sushi. It was cold, over cooked and the smallest portion, the chicken katsu was a quarter piece of katsu and the salmon was all tale pieces with a strange slimey skin. They handed me my drink and I noted it was warm, they said the fridge doesn't work but didn't tell me that until after I had paid. I should have known something was up when the two other Japanese places in Campsie were packed and this place had one person sitting inside, I figured it would be faster, boy was I wrong. Don't ever order from here, no matter what youre thinking you will regret it. Only reason I gave one Star is because I couldn't give zero.
If you are considering this place, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Anything you are going to eat will be better than this. Salmon not fresh, katsu too oily, miso very diluted how stingy, it’s MISO, curry is tasteless it tasted like it was diluted with added flour to make it thicker. Touchscreen was cheap and defective. If you think this is Japanese, you’re a fool.
Wait was 50 minutes and my some of my chicken was raw.....miso soup wasnt even right...sashimi not fresh, there are many japanese resturants in campsie.....ALL better than Akai
One of the best restaurants I've been to : great attitude and they also have clean toilets :D great food and tastes nice
Terrible foods , absolutely tasteless, awful customer services & unfriendly staff.
