Akasiro is based on a traditional arrangement of a Japanese meal, consisting of one bowl of soup and three side dishes.
The lunch menu is set as 'teishoku' (main+rice+miso soup) to choose from typical home cooked dish to eccentric dish you had never met!

Delicious, especially love their navy curry
Love this little Japanese restaurant. Served traditional home cooked Japanese food perfect for lunch. It is also family with little kids friendly. Food are served warm with fresh ingredients. Come early as it can be full easily.
Hands down best curry sauce in Melbourne
Absolutely love love love this little Japanese restaurant. Try the Chan Chan Yaki and steak. So delicious and can say it’s our comfort food now. Also they serve unlimited refills for rice, which is amazing because Japanese rice are delicious! The lemonade is also great and staffs are lovely. Highly recommend this place.

The food was great! The vibe is so nice, and the service is quick. Great options in the menu.
The atmosphere was very authentic and heartwarming! We went there for lunch and boy it was so filling! It felt like homemade food to warm the tummy. Their specials were written on a pot cover too it was intriguing! Inside might be a bit small but good for groups/ single customers.
Tiny Japanese restaurant. Very authentic, delicious food and reasonable price for the portion they serving. Absolute delight to have dine in here and will revisit in the future.
