I have never left a one star review but felt I had to. After a few tries I find this place Really Disappointing; Service always makes you feel unwelcome, Cash only, Prices have gone up and serving sizes smaller. The gnocchi on this occasion was about half a cup size for $17, less than an appetiser size. I think it was a mistake. Left really hungry. So went to another restaurant for dinner. I politely mentioned it, another thing I never do, was met with, sadly, poor service. Wouldn’t recommend.
Since I tried pasta and pizza in this place, I am not going to eat Italian anywhere else in Brisbane. The quality of food is comparable just with best Italian style cuisine. The price is ridiculously low and the staff is very friendly. I am starting going there to eat pizza once a week, because is delicious and very affordable with generous quantity of ingredients. Definitely deserves a 5 stars review!
Pasta and pizza are very delicious. I tried food in many Italian restaurant in Brisbane but Ajo' is definitely my favourite one ! Prices are low and size of meals are really great. I can't wait to go there again!
Genuine Italian Pizza! Good value and quality on all the pizzas I have tasted! The guys provide a good and kind service and are probably one of the best places to eat real Italian food! They do not sell alcohol but there's a bottle shop near by... Same for the fact that they only accept cash...there are plenty of ATM's near by! Will be back to try the pastas and other one-off specials that they normally offer! Well done AJO!
Small Italian cafe run by a few Italian friends serving some southern Italian flavors. Street side seating. Had the pasta Campidanese, which was done just right and full of flavor. Decent portions and very reasonably priced. Definitely bang for buck. If only they had some air conditioned indoor seating.
Great real Italian Pizza at affordable prices. The crust is crunchy, homemade and true and real Italian flavour. Well priced dishes and most of the items that I have tried feel fresh which teletransport me straight to Italy
On the first visit we waited ages for the pizza to come but got an apology and complimentary starter. Second visit caused seriously upset belly the meat amore pizza. Also, the dodgy toilets out the back had no lights so you had to find the loo in the pitch dark. Not acceptable. Annoying that they only accept cash. Ignore the reviewers complaining about thin base, doughy crusts and burnt edges - that is authentic style.
Awesome Pizza! Great fresh ingredients and fair prices. I came twice in a row and I would like to come again very soon with friends. I strongly recommend!
Very unsatisfying take away meal that was eaten 5-10 minutes after receiving the meal. Waited over 30 mins, my carbonara was dry, tasteless and so salty I couldn't eat it. My partners meal was under average, the pasta was under cooked and no flavour. With the time we waited and all the good reviews we trusted we were putting our money in a good restaurant. Would not recommended and would not go back.
Very authentic Pizzas. Prices are little bit on upside for the size but taste is worth it. Not so good the only Pasta they have on new menu.
