Our room was at the attic and cozy. Unfortunately it was really filthy everywhere. Hair dryer seems to have not been cleaned for years and bed sheet not changed for months. Luckily we had a throw sheet which we used. Badly needs dusting and cleaning please. Common bathroom at ground floor was even more worse. Price for a night was reasonable but if someone ask me; will you go back? Definitely not because of the aforementioned reasons.
Room was not hygienic. Bed sheets were clean, I think, however the rest of the room has never been cleaned. The carpets have so much dust in them, it has caked up into small dust bunnies. There was mould in the shower and dust everywhere. The "hotel" has no lift or elevator for suitcases, no shuttle bus from the airport and is not in walking distance to any decent dining options. It is situated on a noisy intersection and has limited soundproofing so you will hear everything. The beds are equipped with very old sprung mattresses which sag and are uncomfortable. Do not stay here.
Low end budget hotel. We booked this hotel to sleep during a 13hr layover, our room was 2m from main highway and room air-conditioning was old and motor bearing squealed consistently. Hotel management obviously aware of these issues as notice on door suggested using complimentary earplugs however these were not found in our room. Supposed 'deluxe' room has double bed with sheets that were old and stained. Dirty towel still hanging behind main door and only 1x towel supplied for 2x guests. Exhaust fan in bathroom was completely clogged with dust. Small cockroaches scuttling on bathroom tiles. No lift to upper floors so need to drag suitcases up narrow staircase. Booked this room as listed on Qantas webpage as close to airport - it was a $45 taxi fare each way. Do NOT recommend staying at this hotel.
I've had the pleasure of experiencing hotels across the globe, from first to third world countries. However, out of all the places I've stayed, this particular establishment was undeniably the most disappointing. The state of the room was abysmal, with dust and dirt strewn across every surface and even deceased insects present. The furniture, including the bed and sheets, were all stained and uninviting. In fact, I was so apprehensive about the bed's condition that I resorted to sitting on the rickety chair provided until my early morning flight. To make matters worse, my room was situated adjacent to a bustling highway, which lacked any form of sound insulation. The incessant noise pollution from passing vehicles, including the faintest sound of a two-wheeled bicycle, made it nearly impossible to catch any rest. In summary, the sole commendable aspect of this hotel was its relatively straightforward self-check-in process. However, beyond that, I strongly advise avoiding this establishment at all costs.
I booked this before reading the reviews and was then dreading my stay but I was pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and comfortable, the aircon worked and the staff were friendly. It’s really close to the airport so great for a night before an early flight. The room was small but had a desk, kettle and mini fridge. The building doesn’t look great from the outside but the inside is better. I would definitely stay there again.
Would NOT recommend! When arriving at the room the door was propped open no cleaner or anyone in the room. The carpet on the stairs was either stained or mouldy the whole way up. The glass at the top of stairs looked like it has been washed with a bucket of muddy water. On further inspection of the room there was a huge amount of dust build up on all surfaces and mould on the roof and walls as well as a wasp nest on the wall. When I went to speak to the person at the front desk all they could say was they will pass my feedback onto the manager. Ended up leaving as the state of the room made us feel very very uncomfortable and sick to think about being there.
Look it is cheap and you get what you pay for. Was fine for us as a layover before our flight out in the early morning. Staff was friendly upon check inn. We had clean towels and linen but agree some dust needs to be removed and a good overall clean would be beneficial.Rooms: 2/5
Booked room for 3 people. Wiped face and realised it was a dirty towel that had marks all over it. No bath mat, hand towel or face washers. Double bed was up some stairs with very low ceiling. Light up the top didn’t work. Bedside table was falling over. Wouldn’t fit anyone taller than 5’4. You cannot keep luggage there safely even if they say so as they just keep it on a trolley near all the rooms. No lift so make sure you get a room off the main floor. Pay more money and stay somewhere else on layover.
Absolutely disgusting! First room was full of mould, hair all over the bathroom. My sons were moved into another room and the filth grew! Mould in bathroom, massive hole in bathroom door, dirty dishes, no towels and a great big hole in the wall trying to be covered up by a curtain. Not to mention the queen bed price I paid for turned into a double with no offer of discount or refund. I have been attempting to contact management but no one will respond! Im sure prisons are cleaner!! Extremely unhygienic - have photos if any one wants to see! DO NOT STAY HERE
I would never go again and I would never recommend it to anyone....unless they slashed their prices in half. No phones in the rooms so no way to book a cab. Shuttle to airport overpriced. Rooms overpriced. Floors disgusting. Rooms tiny. Don't expect to be able to move in the bathroom; tiny! No coffee maker. Walkability: Close to the train station.
