Clean modern large station. Trains were comfortable. Easy to get ticket. It is a shame that trains do not run earlier or all night for early arrivals to improve.
Amazing platform and connectivity to Perth Airport and the overall Transperth Network. The facilities are world class and simply one of the best in Australia in terms of public transport to and from the airport. While other systems in Australia may be closer to the terminal, the train to and from the Airport here in Perth does not charge an exorbitant airport transport surcharge unlike its eastern counterparts making transport affordable.
Using the train to save some coin. It is about a seven minute walk from the baggage carousel in the domestic terminal to the ticket booths. DayRider is $10.40. Funny old ticket - just a piece of paper. Train to Perth City is 10 stops. Good value if you aren’t in a rush.
Airport Central consolidates all airport services into one centralised location for seamless integration of regional, domestic and international flights. The majority of passengers can access the station independently either via ramps, pathways or lifts and access to the station is not via a pedestrian crossing. Airport Central railway station is an underground Transperth commuter railway station at terminals one and two of Perth Airport in Western Australia. The station is located on the Airport line and is one of three stations that were built as part of the Forrestfield–Airport Link project
It is a long walk from the main airport terminal, followed by a rats nest of walk ways to get to the train concourse.nnI guess it is well sign posted to get to the bottom, didn’t wait long for the train.nnTrip to the city isn’t really take long it’s worth the 20min ride compared to Uber/taxi costs.nnToilets, security and customer service officers are on hand.
