As travellers and newbies to fish and chips, we asked for recommendations and the staff were patient in explaining the variety of fish on the menu! Ended up getting an assortment to share personally love the butterfish and flake, and the calamari is a must try!
Unfortunately fish and chips shops have sometimes been known to have long waiting lines/not friendly staff but this fish and chips shop would wipe out all those bad memories you might have experienced in the past. Really friendly staff and very efficient kitchen. Order was ready within 10 minutes even though they were getting busy with more hungry visitors ready to smash some battered fish. We ordered a few calamaris as well and it was ACTUALLY not rubbery at all. It was perfectly cooked with a good amount of batter. Prices are decent. Would recommend this place.
$10 for a tiny piece of flake. Potato cakes overcooked and rock hard. Chips were $6 for 1 adult serve! Cans of drink $4….. We won’t return. It’s overpriced and food was not worth what we paid for it.
Amazing food! Great service and clean shop. I can’t believe the flack these guys copped yesterday when I ordered fish and chips. It was over 30 degrees, they were extremely busy and they were so professional when dealing with aggressive customers. Great work guys we will definitely be back during our stay in Aireys. Thanks so much
Great food, their calamari rings were simply the best. They have dine-in but it's located outside the shop and they only have 2 tables. We did a takeaway option and enjoyed the food at a nearby scenic spot.Food: 5/5
Tasty, fresh food prepared quickly and without fuss. Two stars given only because of the price - $187 !! for fish and chips for 3 adults and 4 children We ordered 2 x fish burgers, a family serve of chips, 40 chicken nuggets 10 for each child, 1 x grilled barra, 1 x battered flake and a couple of bottles of water.
Positive- has home made batter and also fresh fish. Negative- the price, $31.00 2× fish and min chips. Would I go again yes because of the fresh fish.Food: 4/5
We had tried Pink Rockunt , southern Australian deep sea fish with sweet & succulent taste . Honestly speaking I have travelled all over the globe and these were one of “ The Best “ fish n chips I have ever had . Even their chips as well as tartar sauce is with a twist and delicious . Keep it up . Parking: Ample parking space in front Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access on one floor
Excellent fish and chips. We have been working down the road and have been getting food here every week. Great people as well. Highly recommend
THE WORST FISH AND CHIP SHOP ON THE SURFCOAST!!!! I was yelled at by a man in the back of the shop who said the store was closed yet there were people eating and the door was open I didn’t hear what he had said so I simply and politely asked “pardon”…. He then responded with the most foul and disrespectful tone and attitude I have ever experienced on the face of the earth. I hate this place, never returning! I hope your bed has sand in it that you can never get out
