First opened on cir. 1857 later on for passenger traffic on May 1927, this station has served WWII for troop transport on the Geelong route. At that time passengers used Ferry for going to Melbourne.Even with somewhat limited infrastructure this was not closed down due to its historical inheritance.
Not many parking spaces for commuters and most of the trains don't stop, safety is a concern,most of the times station is not patrolled by pso's or security. I wouldn't recommend catching pm services from this station .
Extremely hard to get to th3 station due to heavy traffic on pointcook road.. too many bottlenecks before reaching the station.. no digital display to check the train arrivals and departures
This is horrendous it's very unstable I pity any one with a bike or older people trying to leave this station beware enter at own risk!!
